Small red spot from penomet

Hi all - I see several references to injuries like this in past threads but thought I’d ask for advice.

10 days ago after a session with the penomet and grey gaiter I had a roughly 1/4” diameter red spot on the top of my shaft right near the base. Also tiny red dots, which happen sometimes and usually go away. The tiny dots went away within 24 hours and I took a 3 day break.

After 3 days all looked normal and so I had another session. Red spot back.

I took 6 days off and then pumped today, being very careful to not get any air in the tube, not go into the tube fully hard, and I didn’t pump quite as far as usual.

The spot is back, maybe a bit bigger. No pain, it feels normal, and seems very superficial (moves around with skin and doesn’t seem to be very “deep.”)

How long should I take off? Anything other than normal wound care I can do to speed healing? I’ve been pumping on and off for years and while I haven’t seen huge gains, it’s significant and I really enjoy after-session sex, especially with a new partner. I don’t think I’ve had any injuries like this in the past, just a few tiny red spots from time to time.

24 hours later; the spot is much reduced. Still feels and works fine. I suppose I’m mostly curious how long everyone thinks I need to wait before pumping again. It really seemed completely recovered after a week, but obviously it wasn’t.

The veins and capillaries in your penis are being strained. You need to scale things back otherwise you might suffer a more severe injury.

The problem with the Bathmate and Penomet is you can’t measure the amount of pressure you are using. For those types of injuries it is typically because of too much pressure and or too much time in the tube.

So take another 3 to 4 days off and then try again by using just enough pressure so the tube stays on and for only 5 minutes. If the results look good, next time go for maybe up to 10 minutes at the same approximate pressure. If things continue to look good, you can continue with the conditioning process by adding time and a little more pressure. Just do this slowly over a week or 2 as you get more and more conditioned to pumping with your Penomet.

The easiest way to prevent this in the future is try to stay more consistent with your pumping schedule so you remain consistently conditioned to pumping.

Thanks guys. I’ll try and stay away for a week, and then go easy. My schedule is a little bit irregular simply because I don’t have “private time” that often. I noticed that I was getting a little farther into the tube (like maybe 1/8” past the last/8.5” marking) but was hopeful those were just gains. Maybe it was just more pressure.

I like the penomet, but it’s also not great that there’s a pretty significant opaque area for the gaiter, so you can’t see what’s going on inside there!

So.. I waited 6 days. Absolutely no visible signs of anything after maybe 2. Tried the pump today with only a tiny bit of pressure. I could feel it, but not strongly and I didn’t get completely hard. Did about 5-6 minutes.

Afterwards I initially thought no signs of injury at all, but closer inspection revealed a tiny circle of dots where the circle was, and some tiny ones elsewhere.

Any suggestions?
