Small red spots on shaft...

After pumping for about a week now, I’ve noticed some tiny red spots, that appeared on the shaft, just after a pumping session. The first time, yesterday, I did some jelqing, afterwards and they went away. This morning, they appeared again after the pumping session but didnt go away, entirely. Is this normal, or should I take a couple of rest days?

Clank, I’d like to give this a shot. I’ve been pumping for 1.5 months so I’ll try to help. Do you have a gauge on your pump? How much Hg are you using and how much time are you going for?

To answer the question. It’s not unusual to get red spots on the shaft after a session. I still get them now and I use rather low pressure (3.5- 4.5” hg).
If you haven’t taken days off it would probably be a good idea to. Give your penis time to adapt to pumping, usually round 1- 2 months.

Also, you might want to jelk for 5- 10 min before pumping and between pump sets to help restore circulation in the penis. Heat also helps with loosening things up, tissue, ligs etc.

Try to keep the pressure low for now and set times to 5- 10 mins each. You can increase these later after you have adapted better.

Hope this helps

Cool. I have been using between 3.5-5 hg, so far and 5 even feels uncomfortable. Usually 15 min. sessions, each morning. Havent been using heat though. By mid day, today, I could hardly see the spots anymore but I’m stilled concerned that I may need to chill out for a day or two.

Hey Clank:

“Milking the Tube” gets fresh blood into your penis. Kegel each time you pull the tube. Those red spots are capilliars that have burst. Usually and most common by too much vacuum from the pump. The best way is to use just enough vacuum to keep the tube on your penis. Now for help in the spots—warm moist heat from a well soak washcloth begins to help. Next, break one of you 1000 mg Vitamin E and massage it into your skin; Finally, go to GNC and buy a tube of Arnica Gel—made from herbs and nice smell—This stuff is great for removing any bruising that you occur in pumping. Drink plenty of water always especially an hour before pumping. This stuff will help and just go slow. Steve

Some guys think red spots are necessary for gains. I don’t agree with that, and that is OK. To each his own.

A couple times I did get them in pumping when I exceeded my upper HG limit or stayed too long in the tube under pressure. They go away fairly quickly, but I just don’t think that burst capillaries lead to quicker gains. For one thing, there is a whole lot more to heal when they occur than there is on the micro-tear, cellular level.

The point of PE is to have not only a bigger dick, but also a more functional dick, yes? (I’m saying this to all of you generally.) If you want better blood flow, why explode the very vessels - the tiny capillaries - that in the end deliver the blood that makes you hard when you are in bed with somebody hot?

Hey avocet8—I think our age and experience is showing—If only the message of slow and steady wins the race would be taken. How do you feel that Whey protein added to the diet to promote cell building blocks. I’m not sure on this yet. I’d like to hear from some field tests. As in exercise to build the body—protein is needed to rebuild the cells. I also promote lots of water in the diet—What do you think? Another thing that I wanted to run by your is the use of “Bagbalm” use as a jelquing aid and in conjunction with pumping. I’ve found that the size achieved after pumping is retained for 24-36 hours after session. Have you had any experience with it. I’ve repeated this trial many times alternating between regular Vitamin E hand lotion and “Bagbalm” and the effects have always been the same. Many guys pump every day—I can’t do that without redding up badly—not any capilary burst but just a deeper red and almost sunburnt look. I find that about every third day works best for me—each accordingly… Anyway, would like to get your take on things—Steve

I can’t resist this!

I was told several times that my posts containing (link removed) would be deleted.
I’ve always promoted Tiger’s site but I refrained. I think his images embedded in “how to pump” were excellent, particularly on “packing”.

Do we have different standards for different posters/members here at Thunder’s place?

The standards are the same and thank you for pointing out my omission. The links have been removed.
