I have just started jelqing a few days ago and being a college student it is tough so I have some questions that I have not been able to find answers to.

1.) If I do the 3 newbie steps at different times like not in succession is that a bad thing?
- I find it hard to find 30-40 minutes of alone time living with a roommate, classes, homework and a job.

2.) I have read in a few places to go 5 days on, 2 days off and lots of other ways for just starting out. Is 2 on 1 off the best way?

Hi jjb; and welcome to the Forum

The idea of the newbie Forum is to give guys an idea of what they have to do. As such we have to give guidance that would suit most guys.

Inevitably, there are constraints to the progam as you show. But having to do them at different times is not a huge problem to overcome. It might slow your growth slightly. (Impossible to say how much - if at all) But that is no reason why you should not do as you suggest - Who knows - You might find it better .

On question No 2 it’s simply a case of suggesting to guys a way to go again, you can quite happily go your own way. Tha main point is to give it rest days. in between . 5 days at it with 2 days off is not really a good idea as your unit need some rest to recuperate.

So the answer after all that is

Why do you need 30-40 minutes for the newbie routine?

5 minute warm up, 5 minute stretching, 10 minute jelqing, 5 minute warm down.

That’s 25 minutes maximum and should probably be less, I believe 10 minutes of jelqing is a bit too much for a starter.
