What is the best way to manual stretching?

Update: I took five days off before I re-started with the lamp and my unit is plumper and holding gains better. I am ashamed to say it, but I think a big part of it was just chronic obsessive overtraining. Going to be taking a less is more approach now.

I say because that´s my experience. I got no girth progress until i did lots of extender hours.
The extender hours didnt indeed add any girth, but the few clamp sessions i did afterwards, gave me quick progress in girth
