2 Years Clamping - No Gains - Seeking Veterans

I first started PE January 2016. Because I am 6.8” long and was 4.61” girth wise, I only cared to train girth. That remains the case. I did a year of Bathmate, before a year of manual exercises. I think I made 1/8” or so gains.

In 2018 I started clamping and had some success, but unfortunately, nothing cemented. This year, I again went at it, essentially unable to hold onto the maybe 1/16” girth I accrued.

I need to be clear: I have kept a highly detailed log for years. I have hired Big Al. I have exhausted M9 from Reddit. Over the last two years, I clamped with such dedication I would sacrifice enjoyment on vacations to do it. I have tried ‘more is more,’ ‘less is more,’ and all levels of intensity. I have become so conditioned that I clamp fully erect with 1 minute on, 1 minute off squeezes. These days, I’m back to a simple 1 on 1 off routine. As my log shows, I have put in SO MUCH CONSISTENT work it is absolutely madness that I am not gaining.

I write this after measuring and finding myself back at 4.75”, where I was January 1st. I was up to 4.88”, but I think it’s showing a lesser reading because I went a bit hard and have some mild hard-flaccid that is disguising my gains. In any case, it is an absolutely unfair exchange of gain compared to effort.

Please, may I ask advice from any veterans on what I can try? I am right now leaning towards getting an IR lamp to increase pliability before clamping, as there is NO doubt I have an incredibly hard tunica.

Honestly, to have done this for almost 4 years with nearly zero gains is demoralizing. I would give up, but I can’t let this all have been for naught.

I have some advice that may work but needs a leap of faith…

Sets of one minute of clamping followed with one minute of squeezes is the highest amount of volume you’ve done? Am I reading this correctly?

If so, clamping tends to be more efficient with sets of 5 min + at a time.

Apologies. I do sets of 10-15 minutes, during which I’m alternating 1 minute squeezed, 1 minute unsqueezed. I am a shade of scarlet by the end with over .5” temp gains.

Interesting, so your doing all of this manual then? Your not using a cable clamp at all? Essentially that sounds to me like your doing 6-8 sets of 1 minute ULI’s. Which technically isn’t the same as actually clamping for a set of 10-15 minutes.

That .5” is good expansion though.

That .5” is good expansion though.

I’m not making this clear, sorry. I am using a cable clamp, and in ADDITION to the pressure of the clamp, I do a ‘Big Al’ style squeeze, where I squeeze the glans for a minute, forcing the tunica to further expand against the cable clamp. This is the only thing that started to move the needle, because my tunica is so tough that even fully erect clamps didn’t work.

Despite all this, the progress is zero to none.

I am looking into this ‘constant heat’ idea. Anyone know IR lamps they’ve used?

Girth requires plenty of rest.

He may benefit from staying away from girth for a while, gain some length, then girth is so much easier to achieve after that.

Try warming up with some bundled stretches then instead of static squeezes try rhythmic squeezes when clamped, gently squeeze the top and bottom of the shaft between your palm and 4 fingers at a speed of about 1 per second for about 30 reps then edge for a minute and repeat.

If you feel you’re going a bit soft loosen the clamp a bit and edge back to full hardness then clamp down and repeat up to 10mins.

Why do you say that? At 7.2” I have no interest in pursuing lengthwork so instead I started with pumping for a few months and am now just starting to do soft clamping.

Alright, all taken together here is my new plan:

1. Use IR lamp to warmup and during routine
2. Warm up with bundled stretches (under lamp)
3. Increase intensity, by amplifying clamped squeezes to rhythmic/dynamic squeezes or double squeezes
4. Contrasting the increase in intensity, program additional rest, not being afraid to more often take two days off. I have sucked at resting historically.

I always thinks that manual stretching and jelq are the best for gaining
