3D Printing Airtight Vacuum ADS

Thanks. I’ll have to load it in my slicer and see what happens.

Printed it and it look nice. So how do you use it? I can almost see it being a foreskin tugger as well, almost like a phallosan type device if I understand it correctly.

Essentially it uses a check valve and a silicon sleeve (like one of those eBay vacuum hangers), except the check valve is “remote” allowing you to manually keep a vacuum. It also has a little hole at the top to run a paper clip or string through to attach a load. The main idea behind 3d printing is so it can match the surface geometry of the head better than one bought online.

I printed a complete vacuum cup in ABS, on the first attempt it leaked, on the second attempt, I changed settings in the slicer, lowering the % infill to 10%, and thickening the walls to 2mm and 2mm in first layers and final layers , printing temperatures of 250°C I hope it helps you and I would be delighted if you share your design.

Back in the early days of 3D printers, printing "a cup that doesn’t leak" was a challenge. Various post-printing techniques were used to make the cups water tight. Some involved wiping them with solvents to melt the strands together more solidly; others involved paint or fancier coatings.

Nowadays some printing avocates consider that to be cheating, but if it works, why not?
