Keep it simple. If something is complicated, I will eventually avoid it. Same with PE. My main program is hanging. I have improved my hanger and process for a few years now so that it is easy to log time. Simplifying and being organized have helped me.

Finding The Positive And Ignoring The Negative

The mental game of PE is a challenge. Especially when results come slow. Then, it is tempting to do something to speed things up. My experience is that you just can’t. You can fine tune what works for you, but you can’t force anything. For me, it is nice to do different PE things, and I think at times it is helpful to have a different forces applied through other exercises, but hanging is what works the best for me. If I switch routines, I think my body’s reactive measure kicks into high gear. Then I think that messes with my thinking and I get lost in the weeds and consistency suffers. I do different things in PE, but I found what works best for me, and I try not to stray too far from that. It is tempting however when I see someone post that they gained an inch in a month…

It’s *possible* someone had a major improvement in EQ that showed up in that kind of gains, but I generally write off claims like that as wishful thinking or measurement variation if I’m feeling charitable, or attention-mongering if not.

Thread Purpose

I have two main goals in doing this thread; motivation for me to see where a calculated routine can take me in a year and to provide info to others that is based solely on experience. In such, if you have similar experiences or even disagreements, please open that up for discussion. And if you think this thread is informative, please consider giving it a rating.

Enough of that, now back to work…

Something Recently Noticed

I use a weighted ADS after my PE work outs and that always gives me a pretty good post hang. For the last 4 or 5 days however, what I noticed is that about 4 hours afterwards, I get a full, almost maximum flaccid in both length and girth. It is close to erect sizes, but not becoming erect. I also feel it happening. It lasts about 30 minutes to an hour, even if I am being fairly active. Then it returns to a typical size. For the last 9 days I have been getting great results with my typical workout measurements, and I think this is a good and healthy sign. Anyone else experience something like this?

My main focus is a hanging program. I have learned a lot from the vets and others on this site. However, I have adjusted a lot of things because I found them to work better for me. So what is good from that;

Being educated by reading about and learning from others.
Understanding that the overarching processes are the same, but we all respond a bit differently.
Honest evaluation of what time we are putting in and what we are getting out of it.
Being open to try things differently.
Keeping good notes and reviewing the PE results.
And a mindset that encourages to keep pushing forward.

Stick with it. Good habits produce results.

Adjustments Over Time

Use of a Glans Hanger
Obviously no wrapping required
Use of ADS Weight both before and after session
Start each set with a low weight and build up to target weight over a 5 to 10 minute interval
No lowering of weights on additional sets
Weight determined by: feel and recent BPSFL readings

Other than these adjustments most everything else is covered in a lot of the other hanging threads.

Look At Your Results And Make Adjustments

There have been a lot of recent posts about; not working, no gains, need help, no change. There are a bunch of reasons for this, but in my experience, I think we should consider two factor: are the conditions right for growth and is the routine effective?

Conditions
Trying not to be controversial…I don’t think the penis is designed to grow post-puberty. I know that it WILL but only under certain circumstances. So, if I don’t eat right or sleep right etc, I know it will impact every other aspect of my daily routine and every part of my body. So as your body is doing what it WAS designed to do and using food, water, rest etc. to nourish and repair your daily wear and tear, does it have enough resources to send to PE growth? I try to create conditions for growth by giving my body excess resources. Again my experience, when I don’t do this, I am not happy with the results. If I do AND I have the right routine…Bingo!

Routine

I wasted time (years) by not being organized and recording results. Started, quit, restarted, quit…on and on. If you are not recording your results, there is no way that you can optimize your routine. And knowing that you HAVE to have the right routine for your body to trigger a GROWTH response, if you are just going through the motions, you have to be lucky.

That said, people do win the lottery each day, but everyone else loses also. Early posts in this thread describe how I monitor daily. That is key.

So another point on how complicated this PE stuff is, even though I do an awful lot to keep track of progress and measure and analyze etc., my spreadsheet showed I would have length growth at the start of this month, but nothing changed in length, but 1/4 inch in girth! Go figure. My wife said, “ you can’t wear those pants, your dick is too big”.

Good habits produce results.
