A Few Questions Before Getting Started
Hey guys,
Let me preface this by saying thanks to all for the insight this website provides. I know that there are articles to read before getting started, along with routines, and FAQ’s. I fully understand it’s a marathon and not a sprint so I’m FULLY prepared to put in the dedication and time.
I’m a 34 Asian male that has never had any issues with getting women or confidence. Except for the size of my penis. I’m currently about 5-5.5 inches and my goal is to get to 8.5 inches because I know you may lose some of your gains. My permanent goal is 8. Again, I know this much of a gain will take years or it may never happen.
I’ve read the basics on other people’s experiences, gains, and injuries. And quite frankly I’m on the fence because as great of success stories I’ve read, I’ve equally seen horrible stories of permanent damage. The truth is, like many getting started, I won’t know if it works until it does or if I sustain life altering damage. I’m committed to putting the time in to learning and reading everything and everywhere, but would like some guidance if possible. There’s this website plus subreddits, and all of it is a bit overwhelming on where to begin, which website / subreddit / method to follow.
Some questions I have are as followed:
- What’s everyone’s thought on the best methods - Jelqing, Angion, Multiple ways, Pumps, Hanging, Clamping, Other? And which method is safest? It seems the modern opinion is that jelqing is the least safe and is actually much more advanced than initially thought to be.
- What’s the best place to go for information - Here, subreddits such as AJelqForYou, GettingBigger, AngionMethod, or PEGym?
- Where’s the best place in terms of reading to get started, programming, and learning?
- Does having foreskin affect the way in which you do exercises?
- Is it worth the risk of permanent damage and permanent loss of use of your penis?
- For people that have been injured, but ultimately successful. Was it worth it?
- For anyone injured, do you regret it?
- Are gains truly permanent or will they go down after a few years?
- Will doing this cause ED down the line when you’re much older?
- How much time per day / week do you need to put in?
I realize this is a lot of questions and I don’t expect anyone to answer all of them, but these are things that I’ve been wondering about for years. Like all of you, I want to get bigger and I will do whatever it takes to get it done, but I’m truly scared I could cause damage which would render my penis useless such as a venous leak or something else.
