Lastly, I read that I should start using the newbie routine, when should I start adding in more exercises?
Welcome to Thunders, check the injury board, there certainly are risks if you abuse the exercises or push too hard, too quickly. Serious health risks is open to interpretation. For me, anything involving my penis is serious. :) For the most part, if you take it slow, pay attention to your body and it’s feedback, stick to the newbie routine until your penis is well conditioned before trying anything extreme, you should be fine. Check out Physiologic Indictors as a good way to help keep tabs on what’s going on in relation to how your body is handling what you’re throwing at it.
As far as supplements, while technically not a supp, start with water. Make sure you’re getting enough of it. I blew it off at first when I got here, then started upping my water intake later and noticed a significant difference to how I reacted to stretching, and the flaccid hang seemed to follow along nicely after that. I’ve also had good reaction to Horny Goat Weed, though it takes a while to build up. Yohimbe made my dick come alive in a big way, also made me feel horrible, some have a better time than others with it, read up on it big time before you start. Many guys swear by L-Arginine around here, I just started taking it recently and still waiting to see what I think of it, so far, I’m pretty excited about it. (By the way, don’t miss this thread on supplements).
I think general consensus around here is stick to the newb routine for about three months. I’m the wrong guy to ask, I stuck to a newb routine for 1 month, then tried something new and promptly suffered a minor but frustrating “injury”. I can’t wait to get back to my newb routine again. :)
