Thank you for this article. Greatly appreciated. Some of the things you described I had experienced in the past, like being too aggressive, jumping on to a device in the newbie faze and measuring way too often. Because of this every time I started with PE it lead to a stop after a couple of weeks. On the other hand I was also too cautious and didn’t want to do permanent damage, because I have read some PE horror stories. I also almost didn’t have faith because everywhere you look (in mainstream places) all you hear is that it’s just not possible to enlarges your member by natural means. Because of this I lost a lot of time, but that’s in the past and not something worth to hold on to.

Currently I’m about 4 weeks in; taking it slowly and am not thinking about the gains. Because of my living situation, I’m able to do PE only four times per week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. But for a newbie this is good. I’m thinking of measuring my member by the end of December. Other than that, I will of course look out for how I’m feeling, erection levels, changes etc.

Last but not least, I’m on no PMO (porn, masturbation, orgasm) right now. My nofap streak is 11 days, but I have still watched some porn which I want to quit entirely. I have come to the realization that pornography is one of the most destructive forces in the world right now. I’m also on NA (no alcohol); day 11. Drugs are destructive too, but this fact is far more common to people these days.

For me, I think that after the newbie gains, I stopped reading and just wanted to jump all in.

Thanks @thoughtfulgold these nuggets of wisdom are valuable to me! Just really committing to a routine now, but have dabbled with PE in the past. Excited to see some gains, but all within healthy controls.

That isn’t how this works. There are people who report an inch gain after 5 or more years. One notable user who saw an inch gain after 10 years. Depends on a lot of factors. None of which can be predicted.

+1 on that. It happens to be if you are overweight and start PE you might see from people here about bigger gains, they are reducing fat pad plus PE at that time your NB and BP maybe different depending on your body. Trust the process, do not rush the process. Use the advice here that works best for you. Never ever push beyond your limits, this is a marathon. Marathon runners train for months and years, this is the same process.
