Regardless of starting size, I would suggest beginning with the newbie routine. It will get your member conditioned to further exercises and you can potentially see some decent growth out of it by itself.
I would also recommend determining a reliable method of measurement. It’s going to be difficult to determine your growth if you don’t have a concrete baseline that you’re starting from. 6.5 to 8.7 is a massive window, and unless you can determine something more reliable, you really won’t be able to tell if you’re gaining or simply measuring differently today.
Are you comfortable with your upward curve or do you intend to try and reduce it? Many of the methods practiced here are specifically intended to correct curvature, but it’s fairly common for exercises not geared to that purpose to also straighten you out somewhat. That is something to bear in mind if you decide to pursue PE.
My last piece of advice is in regards to your “fetish nonsense”. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be larger regardless of the size you start with. It is however important to make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons and with a healthy mindset. This is a very delicate endeavor and if you don’t proceed with the utmost patience and caution, then it is really easy to hurt yourself badly. Injuries are always a possibility no matter how careful you are, but the more aggressive the exercises the greater chance that the injury could be long-term or even permanent. If you’re coming at it from a dark or unhealthy place mentally, it can make it a lot more difficult to exercise the patience required to avoid those injuries and see positive gains.
Please, browse the forums and see if you can find anyone pursuing PE for similar reasons. No one here is going to judge you for whatever your kinks or hang ups are, and it might help to share. Whether that’s in an open post or private messages. This is by far the most open and accepting online community I have ever found, and it’s why I expect to continue participating here even after I retire from PE.
