Any Positive Experience With Very Light Hanging?
Hello forum members.
After a few years of not being present on this forum, I return again with the desire to take up this noble sport for men.
But I want to establish the correct approach. Most of those who have had serious gains have hung heavy weights, but in the past, I read a few posts, which I can’t find now, with members who had great results by hanging extremely light weights but for much longer periods.
I didn’t have significant gains in the past hanging even 8-10 lbs. Mostly from jelq I gained.
So, I want to experiment with very light weights, but held for a longer period of time.
The theory that was explained then was the following: if the weight is very light, but sufficient to produce an elongation, then the tendons and ligaments do not tend to resist and stretch without resistance.
The recommended weights were even 1 lb, 3 lbs. The time was quite substantial, at least 2 -4 hours per day.
Quite similar approach as an all day stretcher
Question: Do you have experience and results with such an approach?
Very very small weights and long time?
PS I have an bib hanger and also work with a very tick rope with a node around my .k
Thank you all
