The Newbie Routine

I know this is probebly a dumbass question.but I’m not sure on this so I will ask, what does “2 days on/1 day rest” mean? That I should do it 2 days a week or something?? Or does it mean to do it 2 days and then rest 1 day, and then do it 2 days and rest 1 day, and do it again 2 days and rest 1 day and soo on.

The latter of your answers. From your name, I get that your a body builder. Shouldn’t you be familiar with terms like these?

you do 2 days in a row and then rest one day and repeat. For example you could PE monday tuesday and rest wednesday then PE again thursday friday.


Starting BPEL and EG 7 x 5 as of 3/30/07. I'm sure it's bigger now but I'll measure after this tub of vaseline is empty =)....as of 6/10/07 BPEL 7.25 and EG of 5.6 GOAL: 8 x 6.5...I'm on my way.

Man. Clearly this guy came into the Newbie forum and asked the question because he didn’t know the answer. If you are having a bad day that is OK and we can talk about it but if you are not then don’t leave a pile of crap in the thread. Please decide to contribute to the thread or not.

It isn’t a dumb ass question. You are correct, 2days on, 1 day rest, etc.

haha, Yea if your a body builder you definetly understand 2 days on/1 day rest……

Ya I knew what 2 days on/ 1 day rest means in body building (although I DON’t do body building, I play football, where we do lift a lot.so it’s almost like body building) but I though it might be different in case of PE, I was just making sure.and some GREAT NEWS.I jelqed for 2 weeks, and gained ALMOST 1/4 in!! I didnt even realize, I jelqued for 2 weeks and then stoped for 1 week because I was like man this isnt working.and then after 1 week of NOT doing it, it grew almost 1/4 in, I guess it needed the rest. So now I understand that PE is quite simlar to body building.

The do 2 days then rest one day would be correct
