Any reason to rest if no signs of overwork

Hi. I’ve been doing 2 on 1 off for my first 3-4 months of PE. However, I’ve never experienced the soreness or red spots that lots of people on here talk about. So, is there any reason not to move up to a 3 on-1 off routine? I’m guessing it will produce gains faster, and I don’t see any indications that I’m close to injuring myself. Thanks.

I did 5 on, 2 off and had no problems. However the general rule of thumb is usually stick with what makes you gain, and change your routine not too drastically.

With the knowledge you have and have shared with us, there isn’t a reason why you couldn’t. Remember to go back to 2/1 when you find out it is to much though.
