If my routine is 5on/2off, is it okay to have weaker erections towards the end of the week if my EQ is at a 10 after the two rest days?

I have been trying to determine if good EQ all the time is better than allowing it to get low before a rest day. I’m assuming it’s better to rest at the immediate sign of fatigue if you want girth and to keep pushing through fatigue if you want length. At least that has been my experience.

I can only imagine you are doing IPR routine to have weaker erections, but if you are not doing some NEXT LEVEL routines, then you are probably doing something wrong, something you are not listening to your penis, growth factors etc.

If you can afford the price to have weaker erections with your routine, then ok I guess, you are the one paying it.

I always made sure my EQ was great for the weekends. I learned more intensity doesn’t mean more results.

Well I’m doing stretching, pumping, then jelqing. Not sure if that fits the category. I think this way benefits length gains more since that’s all I ever get. Having good EQ all the time gets me gains but it’s far slower. Usually because of girth gain as well.

What’s worth more to you? Gains or EQ? For me, it’s EQ. I have a very active partner and one semi-active partner, so my gains are secondary to my ability to use what I’ve earned personally. From my reading I thought that weaker erections were negative PI. But i defer to any more experienced member.

I would say gains. Even though my EQ is only about a 7 when I do my workouts, it’s always a 10 when I have sex or if I decide to delve in porn.

This is a really good topic, I haven’t thought about this but after 3 days of training, it’s hard for me to have a good erection to jelq.

I think I’m changing my 5on2off to 2on1off schedule. 5on2off was giving me good results but always felt that the last 2 days of the week I wasn’t training well because of the erection level while jelquing.

If you are having good results, why change anything for a couple days of better erection?

I notice I’m having a tougher time to jelq too, so i just switched to vjelqs which worked for me. I also included edging.

Same. I’m only after girth but if my EQ suffers due to overtraining, any further training without adequate rest is pointless.

If I overtrain, I get less nocturnal and morning erections. I think the nocturnal erections are pretty important for the rest periods

At the end it’s almost the same amount of training, will train 5 days a week, I’ll just change the days I rest.

Instead of resting Saturdays an Sundays ill rest on Wednesday and Sundays. It’s also 5 days in a week
