In december 2014 I started my 2nd serious PE period, after a year of healing after the rice-sock-burn accident which ended the 1st serious PE period. I actually never expected to come back.
Anyway, during this 2nd period I spent so many hours doing PE, as well as researching and reading a lot, and posting a very detailed diary. Sometimes I experienced that it had grown. Wishful imagination perhaps.
The date came when I was going to measure, and obviously I hoped for at least a few mm in at least one of the dimensions. It “felt” bigger sometimes.
Nope. Absolutely zero gain. Size was EXACTLY the same as even before my first PE period.
I wrote all about this in my diary.
Now my question: Why did I not even get a mm of newbie gains? Was my technique so utterly poor? Too weak? Too strong? Just plain wrong?
I recently started exercising muscle for the first time in like a decade. My body just bloomed, fat ran off it, muscles woke up, getting stronger every visit to the gym, biceps more visible even perhaps than when I was in my 20s and training… All this in just one month. Newbie gains are amazing… when you get them. :)
PE start Aug 25, 2013: BPEL 6.7" x EG 4.7" and BPFSL 7".
Paused between Dec 2013 and Dec 2014 due to injury. Careful with those rice socks!
Goal 7" x 5". Ideal is 8" x 6" but let's not even dream about that yet...!
