Astronauts Don't Like Being Referred To As Small

Astronauts Don't Like Being Referred To As Small

I’ve been hovering around PE forums for a good few years but just decided to try it seriously. I want to be accurate in my measurements, and sometimes I’m tempted to mark off the absolute peak of blood rush that seems to last only a second, which of course gives a flattering measurement. Should I just measure the average over a series of a few days?

Anyway, saw this funny story from Medium that may explain some of the psychology behind the tendency to exaggerate gains or measurements…

“ There’s a piece of equipment that’s used to help the men in space urinate, and it fits snuggly around the penis. The problem is, it has to be just that – snug.. Astronauts were given the choice of sizes – small, medium, or large, but they would only ever select large. This was resulting in the equipment slipping off with anti-grav problems that you can only imagine.”

I’d suggest that you want to use a measurement that is repeatable, but this is the internet and some guys have been known to share untruths about their size. If you consider the max size from the peak blood rush as a gain that will be coming, it may help you keep it all in context. Your dick can get there, you just need to encourage it stay there instead of occasionally visiting.

Here is some information on recommended measurement techniques you may find helpful.

How to Measure Your Penis

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Personally I go off the measurement that lasts a second or 2 that you mentioned! Stabbing myself with a ruler doesn’t help when trying to maintain the max length of course. At the of the day, is that not the length your penis can achieve under perfect conditions and is mostly repeatable? I just view it as my ‘Maximum length’ that I am able to achieve, which is of based off erection quality you could say, kind of how your your BPEL is your true length, despite the fact it’s not visible, it’s still theoretically usable. I can then base all other future measurements off that ‘maximum’. But yeah, I know for a fact if I was measured by a doctor, I’d probably lose 0.5” or more.

If it is repeatable and lasts long enough that it is still there when inserted into a vagina, then I would agree it should be measured as your bpel. If it is fleeting then in my opinion it should not be. I can get to 8-1/2” - 8-5/8” while in the pump tube, yet it isnt there when it is vagina time, so I dont count it. But it is ultimately up to you what you measure and how you measure.

Thanks guys! I’m still getting a hang of accurate measuring. A couple of years ago I measured BPEL to about 5.75” then without any effort I now push close to 6.1”, but that’s like serious stabbing a ruler into my FUPA hahaha. Is anyone able to link to a thread or post that discusses exercises to reduce pubic fat? I could probably gain a full inch or at least 1/2” BPEL if I reduced this irritating mound of fat. TIA.

Unfortunately, other than lipo, or freezing that fat off, there is no way to target it. And frustratingly, it’s some of the last fat you lose when you lose weight….
I lost 90lb a couple of years ago, and while my fat pad decreased somewhat, it didn’t decrease nearly as much as the fat in other areas of my body did…🤷🏻‍♂️
