Average Penis Size On TP

Does anyone else find it odd that the average starting size on this website is about 6.35 inches? This would put the average starting size at above average. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Shouldn’t their be more smaller sized men seeking to get bigger, than bigger seeking to get even more bigger? This may be a dumb question, but I’m honestly curious what people think why it is the way is.

There several types of “average” e.g. Mean, median, mode. If you take the mean, the guys with extreme sizes can throw it off. Therefore the median and mode are better guides, also because population penis size tends to follow a skewed normal distribution. Then you have to question how you picked that number out of thin air. Maybe you are making a really good estimate of all the starting sizes you have seen. But then you have to consider all the factors, such as smaller guys will be embarrassed to post their size while bigger guys won’t be. So yeah, in summary, the average here is probably the same as the population average, and there’s no good way to prove otherwise.

I got the number from the post on the front page that compiled all the averages a couple years ago, which also took into consideration outliers. I guess I should’ve specified where I got that number from.

If you go to the the thread the true average penis size it takes into account the main studies done to say the average is between 5.5 to 6.5 or may be smaller. As when men self measure there seems to be a consistency of adding to their actual measurement. I was unable to find the article you were referring to but I thought that was the average length after the gains. I am focusing myself on girth so I was more interested in those stats.

I think that a lot of guys were made to feel that they were smaller than they really are and so seek to improve their size and wind up here.

This also means that members would be 5.85” NBPEL (usually take off .5” for fat pad) which fits with other studies out
