Hi everyone,
Avocet’s Vacuum Pumping 101 post has a suggested schedule such as :

Week 1: One 10 minute session per day
Week 2: One 15 minute session per day and so on.

I’m new to pumping, so how many sets should there be in a session? Let’s say a 10-minute session, I pump till pressure reaches 3-5 hg and hold the pressure for how long before releasing the pressure and repeat? I guess I won’t hold the pressure for the whole 10 minutes?

Yes pump to -3 to -5 inHg vacuum and hold it for 10 minutes, then release. That is one session.

Some guys find that 10 min is too much to start with. If you find this to be the case, try 5 min duration for the first week or 10 days, then go to 10 min. Discomfort is ok, pain is not. When in doubt reduce vac level and /or reduce time.

Later on as you become more comfortable you may then decide to do two 10 min sets. Typically you would then hold for 10 min, release for 3, 4 or 5 min while massaging your unit, then get back in for the 2nd 10 min set.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.
