Bathmate Hydro for 40 Males

This whole process is a little odd to me but I am using this as a journal as much as to get input.

For a few years I was pre-hypertensive, I was just on the borderline of being on meds. I had some tests done and they found a less than 1% blockage in my renal artery in my kidney.
This was most likely due to some type of injury I suffered that I can not pin point. As a kid / young adult I drank home made sweet tea (black tea) by the gallons. At some point I switched to drinking Pepsi, and drank it for decades. Last year I decided I was done with drinking Soda and switched back to making home made sweet tea. Amazingly my blood pressure leveled out, and of course I was better hydrated. I started feeling so much better after a couple months. I wish I could tell you that I also dropped a bunch of weight, but I didn’t. I am 5’ 10” and around 215 lbs, but I am genetically very muscular. I am also been in the military and had other training like boot camp multiple times in my life, so I am sure that has added to my physical structure. I still could stand to loose about 20 lbs, and have already started exercising again to accomplish that.
I recently read that black tea helps tremendously with your circulatory system, and that kind of gave me the explanation to the change in my blood pressure. I also read that green tea helps the body burn fat and suppress that appetite. So as of Sunday I am drinking a hybrid of back and green sweet tea. The taste is not much different, so I am optimistic that I will continue drinking it.

Strangely enough yesterday while in Dollar General I found Horny Goat Weed. I grabbed it and added it to my diet.
Last night my wife and I had spontaneous sex, and I have to admit that I had the best orgasm I can ever remember.
It was like a “Holly Sh*t, did that just happen?” type orgasm.
I had only what I can describe as a super erection (like when I was younger), which I wish I could have stopped to grab my measuring tape it to get a true measurement.
I think that would have ruined the mood, and might not have been good for my marriage. I once read that the level of arousal does have allot to do with the size of the erection.
Furthermore, I woke up this morning and had the same super erection. I was drinking my coffee and noticed over 20 minutes later that it still hadn’t gone down yet, but I didn’t have time or privacy to grab the tape measure.

One other note, after sex my wife said “Something was different”. She didn’t clarify, but I have to agree.

I decided to take today off (no pumping, no nothing).
I also finally got a decent measurement today. I may measure tomorrow before and PE again to be sure my measurements are consistent.
It is freaking nuts once I pick up that tape, the damn things wants to shrink up a 1/4 to 1/5 inch.
I now realize that my penis is tapered in Girth, narrow at the tip and gets wider as it goes to the base.
Not sure if that is normal, but I guess in some ways it will be easier to track gains this way.
I was relieved that I really haven’t lost much in length over the years.

One of the things I like about this site is that I can get confirmation about certain things without being embarrassed.
Not like I run around asking guys if they measured behind the head of their penis today, so in some ways without this site you will never know.

I have the exact same thing. I’m 4.75 MSEG and 5.5 BEG, so I’m shaped like a tree trunk. Since my MSEG refuses to get fatter, I measure both MSEG and BEG to monitor for glains. I also bought a 2” tube, recently
in hopes it may accelerate girth gains. I’m packed at the base and part way to the middle with my 1.75” tube.

I, too, am greatful for this site. I’ve been able to ask just about anything and have never received negative feedback. I received confirmation that I’m not below average or even average. Since, I don’t get to see anyone erect, except in adult movies, in my head I’ve always figured I was small if not very small.

The guys here will never know just how much of a difference they have made in my life to overcome some of my fears that have haunted me the last 40+ years.

It’s normal from the bathmate. When I stalled out I went from 5 5/8” MEG and 6” BEG to 5 3/4” MEG and 6 1/2” BEG. I think it’s because it’s pulling down on your penis while pumping. Could also be your CS getting bigger.

BvckWood, that is a good point I could be just regaining what I have already lost over the years.

I know after a session I feel a pressure at the base of my penis for most of the day.
I also feel a slight burning in what it feels like my Corpus Cavernosum(s) on both sides.
That same type of burning in your chest that you would feel if you did like 50 push ups.

I did what I think was a low pressure session today (Basically I didn’t pump it up to the max). I would say I only pumped it 50% of what I had done when I started.
My penis still got engorged and I felt pressure at the base of my penis. I was able to leave the pump on allot longer because of this.
I assume this is the correct way to do this?

Sometimes you feel a dull sensation under heath the skin. I think that’s the tunica expanding. You can pump longer at lower pressure. I used to pump high pressure all the time. I gained, but also go alot of edema built up. I get the same expansion with alot less edema build up doing shorter sets. I increase pressure over time. It takes some experimenting to see what works. I just started trying short sets and although I don’t get weekly gains like I did before, it feels alot better.

This morning I when I woke up I had a little chubby (not a full erection).
I thought it felt different at the base and decided I would just measure it.
I about fell over when I seen a 1/4 inch gain on my girth at the base.
I got so excited and measured the mid and tip, but couldn’t really tell if there was a difference there.
The I measured the base again and the 1/4 inch was gone.

I decided to kick off a jelqing session, and measured a couple more times on the base.
I can say with certainty that I have picked up 1/8 or 1/4 inch at BEG.

I then did a pumping session, but I am not seeing my penis get as engorged as before.
It does measure any different from before I put it in the pump and after.
Any thoughts?

Stay steady. Just because you measure showing an increase, that doesn’t always translate to more vacuumed size. Resist the urge to up time/intensity.

What you are doing seems to be working. I wouldn’t change anything until you stop growing. Until then, you should evaluate what got you there.

I am 11 days in.

So far what I have learned is that if nothing more this thing definitely boosts your confidence.
My penis feels fuller when flaccid
Although every review I have seen says this, I will say it as well. I don’t see it really doing anything for length (which is why I incorporated stretches).
I feel like I have had gains in girth, but I think my measurements are to inconsistent to confirm that yet.
Oh and I tested that Penis Extender. This Sirs, is not the device for me. To much of a pain in the ass, and uncomfortable as hell. Who wants something pinching their dick anyway.

As a newbie here is what I know after 11 days about the Bathmate.
1) I don’t see any difference in use in the shower or bath. I prefer that shower because my tub isn’t all that big so I actually feel restricted. A larger tub might be a different story, but you work with what you got.
2) Don’t pay attention to the measurement lines unless you are using them for a reference point. You will not get an accurate measurement with it, and it might force you to over pump to try to boost your ego.
3) Don’t go in cold. If you live in a cold state like I do, let the heat of the shower allow your sack to drop before using. Balls being sucked into the Bathmate is not good.
4) Don’t expect your dick to be hard when you pull it out of the bathmate (at least not for me).
5) Incorporate other PE into your routine like jelqing and stretching.
6) Join a site like this, and listen to the veterans that have already been there. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Overall, I’ll keep using it.
I believe I have had gains or preparing for some. Guess we shall see.

I forgot to mention this, but I think that it is important.
There were several reasons that lead me to where I am today with PE and the Bathmate.
One of them was pretty embarrassing, but I now know that regardless this routine has helped with this issue.

Over the last year or two I have been suffering from only what I can call the “turtle effect”.
Basically my penis would contract so much when flaccid that it would be uncomfortable and I would have to manually adjust.
Keep in mind I live in a cold state, but this was happening during the summer months as well totally at random.
Since I have started jelqing and using the Bathmate I have not once had this happen.
This issue was consistent enough that I can say that this has been resolved.
My flaccid penis has hung as it did prior to the “turtle effect” years ago.

This morning before my session I remembered something.
About a year ago my wife wanted a replica of my penis, so she bought one of those “Make a Willy” kits.
I tried to forget about that damn thing because it was embarrassing, and truthfully wanted to throw it out along time ago.
During the process I was very anxious, and could not maintain a full erection. I even put on a cock ring to be sure that the erection wouldn’t go down while we were making the mold, which didn’t help.
What we ended up with was a mold of a partially erect penis with a cock ring on it.
I put it in my safe and totally forgot about it.

So I pulled this thing out, and grabbed the cock ring that I used when making the mold.
I measured the mold, and attempted to gain an erection at the same state as my penis was in when the mold was made.
Which was difficult because I either got too aroused or not enough.

What I found is that even in a less than erect state my current penis was still visibly larger in girth, from the head all the way to the base.
The measurements came back that it was somewhere around 1/4 of an inch difference at each measuring point.
I have to definitely admit that my penis is not the same penis that made that mold.
Every part of my penis was larger than my duplicate.
If I was taking about a fully erect penis I could argue that there is the arousal factor.
This is undeniable that something I am doing is working.

Rather it is the Bathmate or the Jelqing, I will continue my routine to maintain that 1/4 if nothing else.
I am not comfortable posting pics, so I am sorry about that.
All I can tell you is that I am just a normal guy dealing with some issues.

I recently added jelqing after my bathmate sessions and they tie in nicely. It helps get rid of any fluid that was built up and helps bring in new blood flow. It seems like it helps cement your pumped size faster. I should warn, it could make the routine more intense. I think I’m starting to develop ED because of it, and even with a significantly low EQ, I’m as large as when I started this new routine.

I really like reading posts from others in similar places as me. No Bathmate for me as I use a manual air pump at low InHg, but the increase in EQ and confidence that manuals and some pump time have provided are priceless.

I am almost six weeks into PE (again) and I feel like some gains have been made but I won’t measure until the end of a week long PE break scheduled for the second week of March.
