Gotcha. Jelqing is definitely an art form. It took me a few months to really figure it out. In the beginning it was super awkward but now I feel like my technique is pretty solid. I use an overhand grip to wet jelq and utilize an IR lamp for heat. We’re you doing wet or dry jelq? I’m pretty set on only using manuals exercises but have considered a pump at some point possibly. Going to give it a full year of manual exercises and see how it goes. Quite a few members have made good length gains with pumping (Titleist comes to mind).
I would say that gaining to 6 inches is definitely possible with consistency and time. I would suggest implementing heat into your routine if you haven’t already. I use a heating pad when stretching while lying in bed and the IR lamp when jelqing.
