Big difference of PI after hanging vs extending

Hey people,

As title goes - my PI after hanging is bad compared to when I finish with extending. What does that means?

Hanging -

1. Squishy and soft
2. No bigger flaccid length
3. No pump
4. Not possible to do another 3x20min sets
5. Wear off
6. 50% erection, unable to get fully erected

Extending -

1. Looks ready
2. I can get full erection with another PR measurements
3. Can wear it again

What it gives? If I had such a bad after effect of hanging should I drop it and stick to extending and add another way of PE like manuals or something else?

What you don’t say, is the different in weight/traction ( tension). If you have been extending at 1500 grams or less, and have been hanging at 2,5 kg ( ~5lbs) or more - that is a big difference for your penis. I would think that if you were hanging and extending at the same weight/traction, the PI would not be so different. But I do some light hanging, max 400 grams, and keep it attached to my penis for 1,5 to 4 hours straight, while I take a long walk in a nearby forrest. It is not done often enough, to give a result that I can credit this type of hanging, but it keeps my flaccid penis stretched out at 7 inches (18 cm) NPB while doing so. In the extender I usually go for 1500 grams, and stretch out to 8 1/4. ( 21 cm) BP.

I would say that you maybe have been hanging to heavy or a combination of time and how many sets and days vs rest-days.

I haven’t done any hanging yet, but I alternate between pumping and extending. I come out of the tube flaccid, but almost always at least 75% erect from the extender, with more-than-normal girth. Which I find confusing, as I would expect girth to go down a bit as the extender pulls.

You say 20min sets so I assume you do compression hanging. When I did compression hanging dick wanted to turtle and was terrified about how I treated it. It did not like me at all. If you compress it too hard or too big weight you will have bad PI:s. Vacuum hanging with light enough weight does not give me bad PI:s.

I would advice against doing exercises that give bad PI:s. It is usually sign that it’s not good.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

AndyJ; that is not confusing at all, if you are using a noose type extender. The noose will clamp down on the big arterie on top of your penis that leads blood back into your body. The blood will «pile up» inside your penis, when you are getting aroused by the extender or whatever you are thinking of while you are extending, and it will become fatter. However I find that I get an erection everytime I put on the extender, ( still, after all these years) but it goes down, and my penis becomes a «pencil» during most of the session. Your penis will have to learn that it is time for work, not play. Many guys report of bigger girth after years of extention.

Yes, compression. Same for me, it turtles like it witnessed something shocking and traumatizing heh. I’m doing 3x20 now, with low weight considered for compression hanging

How? I do not want to spend more money on PE devices tho

That’s what I’m asking, it indeed gives me bad PI

What do you recommend for me?

I think it depends on the weights/tension you are using. When I used to hang 6 - 7 kg, I always used to have good PIs. As soon as the weight crossed 8 kg, the good PIs went away but I didn’t experience any bad PIs either. The gains continued to come at an even faster pace at these high weights.

I think if you do both hanging and extending at the same weight, you will have similar after effects for both.

They have a propeller shaft, and to prevent them from alge/seashells to grow on them, there are a thing that we call ( in norwrgian atleast) a «zink anode». They are a two pieces, wich one screws together with bolts and nuts ( using an allen key), and they come i different sizes and weigths and internal diameter. I bought a couple to try to find one or two that will fit to my flaccid without stopping the bloodflow ( or too much of bloodflow atleast), and I wrap around some cloth, and put it/them on, and keep it/them on for a long time. They come in 230/280/400/600/1200 grams sizes, with internal diameter of 25 mm( 1 inch) to 45 mm.

It is a cheap alternative, and it works to my purpose.

Are you referring to a donut collar sacrificial anode?

I don’t know what they are called in english/us-english. See picture, of a 230 gram/1inch internal diameter, and a 400 gram/1+1/4 inch internal diameter.

Both are sacrificial anodes. Left is a shaft collar and right is donut collar.
