Hi guys, around two days ago I found a strange thing and one question arose in my head - can too frequent sex/masturbation lead to diminishing your gains?

My “normality” is to have sex around 2-3 times per day. Plus I run combo of pumping with stretching exercises every 2nd-3rd day currently.
This time I had a hecky busy day, so there were no sex with GF or any hand-job for around 35-40 hours.

Yes I think so. Your penis is in constant tired or drained condition so my belief is that you don’t get what you could get from your sessions. Me and my girl have sex almost every day and i need at least 6 hours of rest after to get ready for training. I guess it’s different when you are younger, I’m 50 so I probably need longer recovery time than you. Maybe you can skip sex before training or have sex but not cumming on training days.
Then I think the length and intensity you have sex have some to do with it. I can’t come quick so my dick has to work for it. Maybe that is another factor to take into the equation.

I’m currently 26 and my penis also have weak sensitivity, as puberty wrecked me and I was masturbating hell much. Now it is like sex can go hour or two without me cumming, just not enough sensations for it.

Generally sex won’t diminish gains. For me, the only time is if I’m too chafed from sex to return to PE, which isn’t often.

What good is a dick (of any size) if you dont use it? Sex first, PE can catch up afterwards.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

If you are both enjoying the sex, prioritize that above all else. Otherwise, experiment with some breaks from sex and see how it goes for your PE.

We have sex daily and it’s important to us, we enjoy it immensely. So even if gains are impacted, so be it.
