Can't maintain erection while jelqing

Hi,

Tried my first newbie routine tonight as described, rice sock, manual stretch, wet jelq with baby oil as lubricant.

This seems like a problem that should be common but I can’t find much info on the forum.

I get stimulated to a 50% erection (have no clear concept of what 50% is but that’s another story.). Yanking until I get the erection and then I say “OK, penis, time to jelq”. At which time my penis responds by going flaccid. I think I’m just a bit nervous about the possible consequences of jelqing or something. I’m not too sure.

I’m going to not masturbate for a few days and see if I can get better results but I was just wondering if, in the mean time, anyone has any advice or can point me to the relevant threads.

I know a lot of people try to do otherwise for personal reasons, but I usually keep some porn nearby so when I start to become flaccid, I’ll watch for a few, then go back to work.

I have recently thought about some of my best PE sessions and came up with some suggestions that could help with this problem. You can read about these sessions at Invisible - Invisible’s Progress Thread and Invisible - Invisible’s Progress Thread. Here is a fuller description of what I was doing:

Some of the newbie materials demonstrate a two-handed jelq (one hand after the other). If this is what you are doing, then I suggest trying the following technique instead:

1) Grip the base of your penis with one hand. This hand will be kept fixed.

The key to making this work is the grip at the base. You are trying to get a grip that will seal off the main vein to your penis and keep blood in there. You will have to experiment a bit with grips to find what works. You might try an OK grip around the base or a C grip (see the bottom left picture at Dry Jelq - Step by Step and ignore the fact that two hands are used). Also, try gripping the base with the other hand and varying the grip intensity.

2) Jelq with the other hand using an overhand OK grip.

It might take 30 or more jelqs before you start to notice something. If the grip is working properly, then your penis will become erect and engorged, more so than normal. This technique creates a moderate clamping effect that should help you maintain an erection for the duration of your jelq session.

So you basically keep it clamped with your hand throughout the whole jelq session? And jelq beginning from your clamped hand up to penis head then repeat etc.

That’s right. If I find that the erection level is too high, then I just loosen up a bit until it comes down.

So strange, I have problem to get DOWN my erection.I jelq on 90-100% all the time.

I also have some trouble maintaining an erection when I jelq.

So far a few fractions of inch increase on base erect girth.

For you circumstances, you need to kegel between every jelq so that your penis can retain a sufficient amount of blood during your jelqing session.

The best advice that I can give for erections is work on nutrition. I take 2 grams of L-Arginine before I go to bed. Try to also take more zinc and drink a little over a gallon of water a day. I’m not too sure but I think when you get more fluids the bladder pushes on the prostate. I’m not a doctor so please don’t criticize that last comment too harshly.
