Coconut oil - wow, why am I just learning about this now...

While I want to like coconut oil, I’ve found that it doesn’t have a good, underlying slipperiness. Hard to describe. At first, it’s slippery. But when you bear down on it just a bit, the lubrication seems to go away…has more of a watery feeling.

That is a good point. Although I am +1 on coconut oil, you do have to reapply. When I first did newbie routine 10 years ago it was mainly Johnson oil and this time around I feel my skin is more stretched while flaccid than before with just a regular oil. That has been my experience but I am not 100% after a long break if I would have had the same results if I just was on oil. Seeing if anyone else has had a good or bad experience on the switch.

I’ve been using coconut oil for my pumping sessions for a while now, it works great, inexpensive, you can just wipe it off yourself when you’re finished and any that’s left will act as a moisturizer.

I would recommend cleaning out your cylinder rather than just wiping it out as one poster said, I wouldn’t want to risk anything with the jewels. A pump of liquid soap, some hot water, shake it around good, rinse, dry, and you’re good to go.

I use liquid coconut (MCT) oil. I love it. I sometimes use Bio Oil, but I worry about the fragrances and other additives and how they might be problematic from a hormone standpoint.

I actually like that the MCT oil has a little bit of tact once it is absorbed. This is perfect for jelqing. I think having that "lubed grip" as apposed to total sliperiness is better for PE exercises.

Anybody ever mix oils? Like olive & coconut, or vaseline with coconut?

So far everything is working with coconut oil for me, 7 months in, no problems, jelq-ulis and water pumping.
