Condoms

I never realised how frustrating condoms could be! ‘Regular’ are way too tight and I struggle to get them over the head. The thing is I’ve tried about four different brands of ‘XXL’. Condomi, Safex and Durex, to name a few. All of these ‘Large’ don’t seem all that large! Trojan ‘Large’ are a slightly better fit.
But it seems Trojan XL are the only ones that don’t constrict me that much that my erection fades within seconds of no stimulation.

The most annoying part is, I have to pay for condoms. All my friends can pop down to the family planning clinic and pick up a bag of 20-30 condoms, for free! I went along, asked whether they have large ones, specifically, Trojan XL, seen as they are the most comfortable. They reply, ‘No sorry, we don’t stock them.’ ‘Is there any chance of you getting some, just for me? *Wink at the woman serving me*’ ‘No, sorry, this is all we are provided with, feel free to take some though’

Your thoughts? Experiences with Condom sizes and brands?

Sounds like me. What’s your size? I believe once you get above 5.75” EG Magnum XLs are the best.

On a good day, when the blood is flowing, after a hearty jog, or walking back from college it’s JUST under 6inch, about 5.96. On average it’s roughly 5.85inch. How about you?

I’ve mentioned in other threads that “regular”-sized condoms are designed so that they will be a tight fit on the vast majority of penises — including ones with very small girths. Therefore, even an average-sized guy might find a more comfortable and appropriate fit with a “larger”-sized condom. Of course, with almost 6” girth, as you have, it’s no wonder that you can’t find any condoms large enough. Even the Magnum XL (the widest available) really wasn’t designed with 6” girths in mind — after all, their market would be tiny if that were the case.

The one and only condom brand I tried and use is Durex. Tried all of the types and the one I like the most are extra safe, classic and elite - all of the other are just not my style :D Ahh yes, and I don’t have any problem with the size. The have a good grip around my dick and I like that.

I hate the condoms that they give you at the clinic. Their too small and too annoying, the only good thing about them is that when I try them on, my girlfriend thinks that I am actually bigger than she thinks. So just buy large condoms at the store, sure their abit pricey, but I feel that their worth it. (Favorite condom: Fantasy)

Magnums are wider than Xl’s. Xl’s are just longer.

I’m about 5.6” EG and Magnum XLs feel great. The large Magnums feel good to, but if I’m super hard it gets a tad uncomforable.

That maybe so on paper, but XLs just feel that much more comfortable!

Stumpy1, you have it backwards. Magnum XLs are about the same length as regular Magnums, but they’re wider (15% wider according to this source: http://secure.c ondomania.com/p … mber=C-MAGXL-SL ).

Mckmas8808, I’m not surprised that the Magnum XLs feel perfect with your 5.6" girth. I’d say they’re designed with about a 5.5" girth in mind. They measure 4.25" in circumference at the base, unstretched, and are very tight on a 6" girth, but more comfortable than regular condoms.

I struggled for quite a some time finding the best condoms,however to date the best used are Magnum XLs. They may be a bit pricey here in the UK however I can not complain I would not change my girth merely to be accommodated by normal condom sizes. I still hate rubbers, ther are not good for my erections however better safe than sorry.

Hey Phenyo do you find XLs to be a little tight? I was always wondering what size girth wise, would make XL condoms feel uncomfortable.

Have you tried the newer designs with a lot of additional room around the head? Look at Lifestyles Xtra Pleasure for example. It claims to be 2.1 inches in diameter at the head. And Trojan has some of that style as well, like Her Pleasure and Intense Ribbed. These might still be too tight on the shaft, but might be worth a try.

But hey i do see a good side to this whole ordeal, i don’t have to be embaressed going to the chemist or supermarket and buying Trojans XLs!

Is there any mainstream condoms for guys that need something bigger than XLs? I personally don’t need them, but I was wondering what guys use that have girths bigger than 6.25”.
