Confussion about correct jelqing

Confussion about correct jelqing

I’ve been doing PE for some weeks, but I’m confused about the correct jelqing. In this video it’s said and shown that you jelq all the way to the end of the glans : Wet Jelq Video

But here: How to Jelq - Professional Jelqing this is what is said:

“Care should be taken to avoid damaging the dorsal nerve which runs along the top of the penis in the middle. There is a particularly sensitive nerve bundle in the top middle of the penis just below the glans and this should be avoided, either by terminating the stroke an inch before the glans or avoiding the area with a grip biased to sideways pressure. An overhand OK, locating the webbing between thumb and forefinger centrally is likely to be least likely to cause nerve damage and can fairly safely allow the stroke to be continued all the way to the glans.”

So far when I was jelqing I stopped right before the glans (right before the penis head). At the start of the session, I do feel a little bit of “stinging” in the glans, but after a few minutes, the jelqing goes nice and well.

But in the text above it says to stop an inch before the glans, while in the video the guy jelqs all the way through the end of the penis. Would appreciate if anyone can clarify this confusion, and share your experiences as to what and how you feel when jelqing.

The general consensus is not to jelq the glans, in those videos the practitioner is moving his hand over the glans but (imo) is not jelqing/squeezing the glans.

Squeezing the glans can cause pain, discomfort, and discolouration. The motion of the jelq pumps blood into the glans to engorge it anyway (hence why sometimes people get redspots)

The aim: to be unable to fit in a cigar cutter.

Thanks for clarification! That’s what I too was leaning towards. But what about the slight sting in the beginning of the jelq session, do you feel something similar to what I described?
