I think it is the type of foods you eat that is the main factor, I am still around 16 stone in wth, at around 5’ 10” in height, and have been eating like this a year and a half now.

No disrespect meant here, but I am a competitive bodybuilder and train a lot of people to compete and if your goal is to be a small person great, but if your goal is to be lean and have a very thin fat pad then this is really a very bad way to do that. Yes it will shrink but so will the rest of your muscle which will make you look what I call skinny-fat. Like those people that are 120lbs but still don’t have abs.

PussyCat, I have to agree with GonaBeBig here. First, it’s your body, I do not have all the answers, and you know what works for you better then I do. That being said, this is just some advice. With that kind of diet, your PROBABLY losing more water and muscle weight then fat weight. At first you will have a dramatic weight loss (mainly water), and as time continues, you will not be able to preserve muscle. But, since you said you have been doing this for a year and a half, then maybe you are an exception. GonaBeBig, I am a biochemistry major at UT, and I was wondering what the career field looks like in sports supplements. My dream goal is to one day either 1) start my own sports supplement company or 2) work for a lab that makes the supplements. Training is also a possibility, since I absolutely love lifting, nutrition, and anything related. Just trying to get some advice from a veteran in the field :) . Davey, I have to say, you seem very good at taking advice friend. Most people will either disagree or not put their words into action. You have done neither. Keep up the good work bro, and post some pictures in the future of your new found leaner body!

Starting stats: 01-25-06

6.5 NBPEL

5.25 EG midshaft

It’s actually supposed to be all Pilate’s exercises because they focus on the abdominal muscles that aren’t really worked with normal sit ups.

Dec \'23 -> Feb\'24 17.5cm -> 18.5cm BPEL / 12.7cm -> 13.1 MSEG / 18.5cm -> 18.9cm BPFSL (measuring in mm for accuracy)

My First Real Attempt:

2006 Start: 6.25" BPEL and 5" EG - 2012 7.625" BPEL / 4.875" EG / 8.063" BPFSL. (All manual routine)

Jbond, ya, the reason I’m here is to get info and advice about all sorts of stuff. If I didnt listen to it there’d be no point in being here. Of course though, these are forums, so I’ll have to sift through misinformation and good information. But so far everything sounds good or at least plausible.

Also 006, if you want to work in some aspect of sports nutrients/supplements you may want to ask your achedemic adviser whether biochem is best for you or Food Science. Food Scientists make big buck and, I think, are the ones that work on supplements. I’d ask professors as well.

And it’s good to know that shriveling up happens to many guys after/during workout. This is why I , ideally , will do PE after the body workout so that I’m left with a dick with blood in it.

It doesnt matter when you do PE as long as you are at it.

Walk slowly but never backwards.

Well I just did a more accurate calorie count, and with all the glucose and little extra’s mayb nearer 1800 calories and on fridays about 2200 calories.

My body is in no way small, my chest without any pumping is 52 inches expanded, arms nearly 16 inches cold, and thighs 26 inches cold, I don’t take any drugs at all and never did, also for training I only do press ups, and body wth squats, and for my arms I just free pump my biceps, and I do calf raises on a step with no wth at all, and a few pull ups for my back, but most of these body parts I only do every 2 weeks.

I do press ups every day 3 sets of as many I can do, also I do side bends and leg raises and some standing trunk stretches.

Not keen on a bodybuilder type of body just like to look strong and well built.
