I know what you mean. I used to jelq which gave me some temporary gains but also hurt my EQ for 3 days after each session and stretched out my foreskin which I hated. Then I figured out what really worked for me and all I had to do was perfect the techniques and amounts and I’ve put on a half inch just in the last few months. PIs are important but it’s more about overall feeling for me. I take pristine care of my body and have pretty good body awareness, so just like sometimes I’ll still be sore from a weightlifting session but just know that I’m ready to hit the same muscle groups again, sometimes I’ll still be tired from a PE session but will know that it’s just the right amount of fatigue to allow me to expand my cock just a little more than it’s ever been filled. Early on I would push it too hard and have to back off. Just push your limits slowly, reading is great but you also have to get the experience. As far as a flaccid, on stretching days my flaccid is pretty good, it might turtle just slightly in the few hours after my session, but that’s usually because I’m subconciously flexing my pelvic muscles, and if I take a hot bath or smoke some weed I go the other way and hang a little longer than usual. After my clamp/pump days my flaccid is huge, it stays about 6-7 inches and fat for about 10-20 minutes then stays a fat 5 inches for the rest of the night. On my rest days I hang about 4-5 inches depending on my stress level.
