Didnt make any progress this month :( New routine?

I just finished my 4th month on the newbie routine and didnt gain anything this month :(

Should I move on to a more advanced routine?

Im pretty dissapointed :/

also im doing 6 minutes of stretching and 16 minutes of jelqs at thispoint

also im doing 2 on/1 off cycles

Aloe . It would help us to help you, if you give a complete routine. Just giving us bits and pieces means nothing to us . So some more information of what you are doing will give us something to work on.

Does this mean that you had some gains in the previous 3 months, or there is no gain at all.

I had gains the first 3 months, around 3/16 length and 1/4 girth!

My routine is 2 days on, 1 off

Warm up
6 minute stretching (1.5 mins 4 directions)
Jelquin (every week add a minute, I’m up to 16 minutes)

Maybe see what other people say but I think you should up the intensity of your routine.

Something like

5 mins warmup
15 mins stretching
15 mins jelq
5 mins warm down

It depends on what your goals are but 6 mins stretching isn’t much.

I agree with your approach of increasing gradually. After 3 months you seem fairly conditioned, and your program can be boosted a bit.

The best thing you can do is research. Decide on what your goals are and research how to achieve them. Read the threads on different techniques and try things out while monitoring your PI’s. I believe there are slightly more advanced routines listed when you go to the newbie routine page.

Look around at people who have results you want and ask about their routines. Do not walk into a high intensity routine, find out how they got to where they are. Almost every single person on this site will tell you about their routine, and past routines.

I would suggest reading up on Ulis (girth) JAI and V stretches (length). They are pretty standard for more advanced routines. Make sure you read up on anything and ask/search for answers to your questions about a new exercise to prevent hurting yourself with improper technique.

Thanks man. I searched “intermediate routine” and found one. Ill look around at techniques. The reason I didnt before was because I didnt want to throw together my own routine and have it be way to advanced you know? Ill ask around tho

In the end your routine after the newbie routine will pretty much be unique it is just a matter of using others experience to know how certain exercises are supposed to feel. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

The only thing I would change is doing your normal level of jelqs, and from here till Saturday read up a lot on how the new stuff should feel and what the common injuries or mistakes are so you know if it’s wrong.
