Ejaculation Frequency and ED

Ejaculation Frequency and ED

I feel like this is going to be the dumbest question ever asked on these forums. I have mentioned in a number of posts that I have had issues with sustaining an intercourse ready erection without Viagra for a number of years. I found this site searching for info for ED and have gotten great help to get where I am at today. I have had some size gains, but mainly I am after 100% EQ. Between masturbation and my wife, I ejaculate daily. My thought was use it or lose it and the frequency was beneficial. I was recently in a situation where I had a three day break and my first after-break erection was absolutely glorious and sustained. Easily, intercourse ready, but the wife had already gone to work. I didn’t masturbate and finish because it was different and I wanted to discuss here.

There are a lot of variables and it is hard to pinpoint exactly what is going on. I have been doing the AM method since the first page of postings a number of weeks back. This has 100% helped my ED and I have been able to get a fully hard erection without Viagra following the weeks of AM, but the erection is not sustainable for intercourse without Viagra. I have been exercising, mostly walking and weight lifting, for a couple of months. No real weight loss but better muscle tone and cardio. I was diagnosed with low T at sub 200 and have been on Testosterone for 2 months with levels now right at 500. There are a lot of potential vectors for the improvement, but I feel stupid not considering that holding off for a few days might be the final piece. My wife and I always had sex daily and there were no issues for the longest time. Daily ejaculation was more of a habit, I guess.

I have been obsessed with activities and treatment to help my ED and have been encouraged over the last couple of months. I assumed that a 24hour break was plenty for a full reboot and that daily ejaculation was not a consideration for ED. I am thinking that may not be the case and there may be some break that is needed, or every individual has an optimum refresh period.

I am curious about others experiences, or if this is one of those facts that everyone else is in on and I am late to the party.

Thanks!

I’m not 100% clear on the question, but I will say that PE has not caused any ED with me. Ejaculation frequency, if anything, is more often because of PE. It has the effect of charging me up, stimulating me. Maybe because jelquing is quasi-masturbatory? Not sure why.

Sorry, my question is, does EQ improve with extended frequency between ejaculations? I never thought holding out for a few days would make an erection harder. Today’s erection made me think otherwise.

For some, yes. For others, no. Everyone is different. Some like to ejaculate 2 or 3 times a week, for various reasons, but one could definitely be because of EQ. Some like to ejaculate once a week and some everyday. Refractory periods are different for everyone, and if you haven’t given yourself enough time to recover throughout the refractory period, there will be EQ issues.

Low testosterone won’t help either, more testosterone will help.

I suggest not cumming everyday and change it to at least every other day and see how that works for you.
