Erection Problems
Been reading the forum for a while, but thought I’d finally now make a post. Let me first of all say what a great resource this place is - the community and it’s founders are to be commended for the effort.
I guess I should introduce myself, I’m Nathan, and I’m 19 years old. For around two years now I’ve had some fairly significant erection problems. At the moment I’m in pretty good physical shape, not overweight or anything, and according to my last checkup at the doctor (about two months ago) I have no underlying problems which should be causing erection problems. However, my erections have been problematic for a while.
Basically, my penis gets fairly hard except the problem lies with the head. The head doesn’t seem to retain blood properly, and is very soft and looks small when the rest of my penis is erect. Based on the available literature, and what I have seen here, I am inclined to tentatively make the conjecture that I may have venous leak problem. If there is no underlying problems, according to the GP, then I am not sure as to what else it could be. It is definitely not a psychological problem, as I am fairly sure I do not get nocturnal erections (never wake up with the wood, sometimes if I wake up in the night I’m never hard). Also, the problem is far too consistent to be psychological.
In order to try combat the problem over the last couple of months I’ve been taking supplements (ginkgo and Arginine) as well as doing some Jelqing fairly regularly (4 times a week?). There has been some improvement. However, the issue with the head remains. Also, often when I stand up my erection falls away very quickly - It does not stay hard for more than about 30 seconds (fairly rapid deflation - although better with jelqs). This is obviously incredibly problematic, especially if sexual activity ever arises. Also, I never get the spontaneous erections of the past - may get about 20% on excitement which the requires stimulation.
I’ve tried viagra a few times before, and although the erection doesn’t fall away as rapidly (ok for pretty average sex), the problem with the head still exists. Also, I’d rather not have to rely on viagra or cock rings (tried them, they’re ok, but uncomfortable) - but perhaps this is inevitable?
Anyway, I’m seeing the GP again in a couple of days. If anybody could offer some advice about this problem, it would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Nath
