Hey guys,
I’ve been doing my stretching routine for about 20-25 minutes almost every day, in addition to 20 minutes of pumping.
I’m considering to buy an extender just to save the time as it adds up.

Wanted to ask about the diff between manual and an extender. I mean from what I read most people wear extenders for 6-8 hours a day.
So my question is -isn’t an extender superior to manual stretching just by the sheer time volume you stretch? I mean 6 hours vs 30-60 mins manual is a huge difference. In addition the fact you can just wear it while going about ur day.

Just my experience. I have about 600 hours of extending and noticed no real gain. I have always pumped, and did a manual stretching routine 2 years ago with amazing results. Therefore I thought the extender would replicate those results. It has not. Pumping and manual stretching has worked wonders for me, but my extender hasn’t. I’m thinking I’m going to have to go back to manual stretching.

The traditional extender use was for low tension and long duration. But many new extenders are on the market that can be used as both low tension AND as high tension, short duration equipment. So you can effectively mimic hanging with them if that is your aim.

There are a bunch, but check out the Apex, Hog, Total Man, and Best extenders. There are pluses and minuses to all of them but all of them can pull up to about 20 pounds of tension or so. Plenty for most guys’ needs.

Or check out hanging as an option. You can try vacuum or compression hanging. Most guys use a vacuum setup for high tension extending, so you’ll have to get a setup for that anyway. Throw in a way to attach some weights to your vacuum setup and you can also hang.

Manuals are great, are stealth and you can go a long way with them but they are more effort than the passive nature of hanging and extending so most guys eventually transition to this level of equipment at some point.

I have only been doing the extender a little more than six months, and I have only used two inexpensive extenders from LeLuv, but I have found the extenders limit my movement and need to be removed every 20-30 minutes. I can sit at my desk and carefully get up and down, but I sure wouldn’t try to walk any distance.

I haven’t tried the extenders that attach to your knee, and probably those aren’t as limiting.

Also, I have been confused about how to use the extenders, and there have been a lot of mishaps. Mostly I have pinched my skin or caught hairs in screws, but I have even had the extender fall apart while I was wearing it. The extenders I have purchused had worthless instructions, so it has been trial and error.

@kalel - How long have you been doing this? I’m just seeing if you are stretching or doing actual Manual "Hang" stretches. As. explained in the video, this is basically hanging. If you are doing this then using ADS is not hanging. I believe it is common that most believe that you only get flaccid growth with ADS.
