I’m also interested in some sort of traction device like the AutoEXT. What I really want to know if most people found it comfortable to wear all day and concealable underneath clothing. Or if there are any alternatives that are effective that meet that criteria.

I’m interested, Big G. mentioned 20 lbs (9 kg) as a stretching weight. Does this amount refer to an exercise amounting to PE in itself, or is it a “cementing weight”, ensuring that the tissues acquire a new form after manual exercises? For a newbie, 20 lbs sounds like a lot.

I am very interested in stretching, though, mainly because, in theory, it is a passive exercise allowing for other things to be done meanwhile. Are you comfortable in wearing such devices all day, are they so inconspicuous that you can walk around wearing one and no-one will notice?

I always see posts in response to this type question warning against noose type ads. I understand the dangers they expose one to, but wouldn’t it be fair to say that with great care and vigilance the cheaper noose types can be effective? Some folks are just never gonna be able to afford the safe expensive type. With a little care the noose type can be safely used, so long as you recognise the dangers. I’ve seen 1/8th inch of erect growth in 1 month with my cheapo max-xtender,as well as an unknown amount of girth. I have no problem wearing mine 2 to 3 hours at a time thanks to the safety advice on thunders. I can afford a better ADS, my plan has always been to see how my package responds to the ADS before investing in the pro level equipment. But I may just stick with ole maxxy. I hope this doesn’t come off as argumentative, I’m very new so this should be taken as my opinion only, but if a cheapo is all you can possibly get, then read everything you can read about the max-xtender, how to wrap, modify ect. Learn what to look out for health wise. But if you can work a little overtime or give up a night out or two and afford a good one, you might want to go that route.

Few people actually apply "great care and vigilance" to anything, let alone PE. In particular, those just starting out with PE often don’t even understand what "great care and vigilance" means with respect to PE. Also, while the safety of others is generally the main concern, there are liability issues surrounding recommending the use of a product known to be painful/unsafe.

If you use the terms cheaper and expensive in a discussion like this, please at least provide examples of the costs that you consider cheap and those you consider expensive. The reason for this is that people all have different assumptions about what prices are cheap and expensive. In addition, for most people, the safe variety (e.g. AutoExt , AutoExtender Reviews, $139) is less expensive than the noose type (e.g. JES (andro-penis) from AndroMedical , 299€ = $352.51). Thus, without examples, we look at your statement and go :wtf: ?

You are obviously using different examples than the ones that I have used. That is fine, but we need to know what your examples are in order to provide comment on your statement.

If you just want an ADS, you could make one yourself for a very low cost.
However, my personal preference is the AutoADS for $59. I have been using it for closing in on two months. It is comfortable enough to wear for 12+ hours per day (my max is more than 24 hours, excluding bathroom breaks, etc.).
NOTE: I consider an extender to be different than an ADS. An extender is usually designed to provide a controlled tension on the penis for reasonably significant periods of time. An ADS is designed to keep the penis Stretched All Day (ADS= All Day Stretch). The amount of tension provided by an ADS varies greatly depending on type and actual use.

As to the noose type: I tried one (from a reseller of the andro-medical, JES). I found it very uncomfortable, and nearly impossible to wear for extended periods of time. I purchased the Modified Head that is much more comfortable. However, due to the better design of the AutoExt base (accommodates base girths > 5 5/16), I wish that I had replaced the entire unit.

Basically: You get more benefit out of an extender if you wear it for longer periods of time. If it hurts, you will not wear it for as long. Alternately, people will just stop using it.

I’ll clarify each device funtion,

AutoADS/PEweight? - light pressure for long period of time. Light means light - stretch to natural state or slightly longer. The basic funtion of ADS is to heal in extended state (after you do other excersizes to pull the ligs). You could use the device to pull harder, but you are not doing ADS at that point. Keypoint for ADS is concealibility so that you could wear it outside of home.

PM/JES - is a light pressure device. These devices are consider an ADS device, but could have a higher pulling force for short duration. Although some people do wear it outside, this should be considered home base device.

AutoEXT - This fits between extender and hanger. It could be used as a light ADS device, but has higher pulling power than PM/JES for max stretching (for short duration). This is also for home use only.

BIB/REDI-stretch - These are the heavy hangers (10-20lb weights).

One thing about these devices, within each class, select the one you find it most comfortable. Whatever the method of attachment, they all have same function. The key is to find the device that you find it comfortable - so you’ll use it all the time. No device is better, just what fit you the best.

There also seems to be a mix feeling about the gain that come strictly from these devices. My recommendation - develop a regiment that includes both device use and manual excersizes. When I started my PE career, I did lots of jelqing - without any measurable gains. Then I started to incorporate lots of different excersizes and device use - and gains came. As others have mentioned, I can’t possibly pinpoint what actually made the gain (I like to think its my device, but I can’t), it could be manual excersize or device use. Who cares as long as there is a gain. Just find what you are comfortable with and stick with it (and change your routines every couple of months).

On the day I work length:
If I’m going to be at my desk sitting, where I spend a lot of my day, I will be extending/hanging, manual stretching and jelqing. Whether I’m hanging weights or using the extender I do 20 minute sets of heavy stress, either 20 pounds of lead or pull on the fish scale or the equivalent tension on the extender.

In between heavy sets:
I’ll use the extender with light tension switching off with Fowfers. If I get up or know I’m going to be on my feet a while doing things around the house I’ll strap on the Auto/ADS with just enough tension to keep me slightly extended. The pulling of the silicon gives a gentle tug while walking around. When I go outside to power walk or run the treadmill or swim laps I’ll slip on PE weights. The right ADS for the right situation.

On girth days during the times at my desk I clamp and dry jelq between sets. But still if I’m up running around the house I wear an ADS. One PE ring slipped over my clamp-swollen, baseball-bat shaped dick, pressed all the way to the fat pad locks in like a but plug and holds the engorgement pretty well till I’m back at my desk. But every dick is different. Some guys can’t keep the PE weights on without wrap. If I had to wrap, I’d find something else. My fluid swollen dick with all the excess PE skin bunched up at the end keeps one weight on easy. When I swim I wear all three.

Use any of these or make your own, but keep it extended as much as possible on length days and engorged as much as possible on girth days.

Your dick should never be inside your body.

The Langeman Measurment Method

If I crank the large head clamp all the way to the end of the shorter set of rods or almost to the end, I get what feels to me the same tension as hanging 20 pounds. I can hold that for about twenty minutes then I have to release and jelq in blood. It looks to give me about a 6-1/2" to a 7" flaccid stretch length from the tip while in the device. My normal BPFSL is 7-1/2" but that is pulling from the tip, the extender is pulling from behind the head and a wad of skin. It’s hard to get the ruler in the right spot with the base ring, I go more by tension. I just crank it until it feels like 20 pounds. But I’ve done a lot of hanging and I know what 20 pounds feels like. I don’t recommend that much force for new members. Then after some massaging/jelqing I’ll clamp at about half that tension for about ten minutes, then do another heavy set. A one hour session of three 20 minute sets of high tension and three sets of low takes about two hours, depending on how carried away I get with the massaging. You really only need a few minutes to restore circulation, but I sometimes enjoy the massaging a little more than I should.

What I like, or how I know I’ve had a good session is after the three 20 minute extender sets I can tuck a Fower in my office chair and my dick goes all the way up past my butt crack.

I call this the Langeman Measurement Method ;)

Hahaha, thanks all the same, I don’t think I’m going to be using the Langeman Measurement Method.

I have found that using my autoADS I can get a stretch of around 7” nbpfsl, with my max nbpfsl 7.25”, and bpfsl of 8.43. Today I clocked around 13 hrs, but I find that I have to remove it every hr for circulation or discomfort. Based on your reply, it does not seem that there would be any reason for me to get an extender.
