Hi again!

Thought this might be worth a new thread, and to see current views on this.
So until now, I followed the advice to do Jelqs that are 3-4 seconds strokes each. I believe this is to maintain the collection of blood as it gradually goes up the shaft and to the head. (Correct me if I’m wrong, of course)
Recently I tried doing ‘rapid’ jelqs; strokes under one second. I find the penis to get rock hard during this, and whilst 100% erection level isn’t advised I also wonder if the amount of blood also puts a good amount of pressure on the penis for gains in girth.

But why is it that slow jelqs are advised over fast ones?

Is it a more controllable, and therefor safer amount of pressure? I found the only tricky thing with Jelqs is that it’s harder to find out whether the penis has been adequately worked. (Then again I haven’t done proper ULi’s or the like)

What speeds do you for strokes?

I think my jelqs are usually 3-6 seconds. When the erection level gets too low I go faster.

The slow jelqs are advised over fasting, because this gives you a better expansion of the corpus cavernosum and because the quick jelqing will only give pumping and not much growth.

Fast jelqing? That’s called masturbation. Slow easy jelqs work!

I alternate between 50 of each.

Expansion of the CC should be visually apparent. It may be harder to notice if you’re jelqing overhand. Are you wet jelqing or dry jelqing?

Not good to push the blood fast while under pressure (promoted by the exercise itself and is determined by your erection level and grip force).

I believe that the reason is quite logic: during the stroke, blood is rushing forward inside each vein and arterie. Wont be good for their “walls” to deal with excessive pressure (maybe the arteries would handle, but veins I’m not so sure).

When done slowly, you are giving more time for this pressure to dissipate back, since you are not clamping completely the in and outflow.

Wet jelqing! I alternate between OK grip and C grip, but try and stick with the latter.
I might have seen it last session…the shaft seemed more engorged than the head, but I also think it may have just been the head not expanding like normal. But then you mention the overhand, suggesting one should only notice it during a Jelq, is that right?

Ahh, thought so.
My main worry is usually if too much blood slips and escapes from slow jelqs, even if the grip is tight. The penis never looks or feels like it’s….’ballooning’, only that there’s a hand stroking it slowly.
