Fat Pad question

I recently realized that my fat pad is covering at least 1 inch of my penis. Is there anyway to reduce it through surgery or exercises?

I am very skinny for my height (6 ft 160 lbs) so I am not sure if exercise will be the answer unless there is a specific exercise just for your fat pad.

Fat deposition on someone’s body is unfortunately pretty genetic. Meaning your body will preferentially store fat in certain areas over others and also lose it in some areas over others. It’s also gender related as well. Men tend to store excess fat preferentially in the belly and love handles areas, whereas women will preferentially store in the upper leg/hip/glute area. Everyone is different but these are general observations.

Hopefully this doesn’t come off as insulting so please don’t take it that way, I’m just trying to help educate. If you are thin but still have areas of pretty considerable body fat, you are probably what is referred to as “skinny fat”. This means although you don’t weigh a lot for your height, you have very little muscle mass (which is heavier than fat). The good news for you if this is in fact the case, is that by adding muscle through strength training, you will add heavy, metabolically active tissue that will help gobble up that remaining fat you have.

If you don’t have a lot of muscle, trying to diet away that remaining fat pad will not leave you in a good place. You simply may not have a big enough “engine” to burn that fat off. You don’t even have to go crazy, good bodyweight excercises like push-ups, pull ups and squats can get you a lot of muscle in a short time if you haven’t trained before.

Lipo of the pubic area is one (expensive) option.

There’s also the cool sculpting option, but I don’t know what the probability of success is. I seem to revall that ThoughtfulGold posted a thread on his dyi version of this. I dont recall the details of his effort. You can search for it if interested.

The only natural way is to lean up. I get cut for the summer every year and the fat pad diminishes greatly. Build muscle, loose fat. Which depending on what you’re already doing means lift weights, do some aerobics to burn calories and get on a meal plan with enough protein to preserve muscle as you lose a little weight.

I drop ~12 lbs and about 5% body fat and the difference in the fat pad is substantial. Plus I can’t stand how it looks.
