I would like to first and foremost thank everyone on this site who has contributed for all of your hard work(no pun intended) through the years. I have known about this forum for many years now and was always gun shy (stupid puns again) about posting and becoming a contributing member(haha puns!)

I was always curious about the gains, I have read about stretching, jelqing and more advanced techniques such as pumping and hanging, clamping, etc. However I was never able to buckle down and start a solid routine. I am making this post so that I may introduce myself and receive encouragement from this very generous, intelligent community.

Anyways I am not doing PE to change my life, merely contribute and add to what has been a successful sex life thus far. I am not small in length being over 6 inches naturally, although I have always been self-conscious of my girth. I believe it is a hair over 4.5 inches at last measurement although it has been sometime since I have measured and I believe it may have increased slightly due to sexual activity.

I am starting with the newbie routine as per all recommendations, I don’t want to break what isn’t broken and I know you only get one penis, so that is enough to keep me conservative. I am a risk/reward type of guy and I don’t want to risk too much.

If anyone can point me in the right direction when it comes to gaining girth over length that would be appreciated, I understand that the two come in different timelines with different exercises focused on each but I feel my length is decent and my length to girth ratio of ~.73-75 makes me look thinner than I actually am.

I love the strong sense of self-improvement drive that is underlying your PE motivations to enhance your already successful life, rather than a measure of despair. That’s what it’s all about imho.

For girth I would HEAVILY recommend pumping with a air pump that has a gauge. But only after you finished the newbie routine since you want to condition yourself first. From your post you seem already very well informed so I don’t want to say too many things that you likely already know.
Once you get to the pumping, get a cylinder that is quite bigger than your girth to allow maximum expansion. That is also my plan once I hit 7-8 months with my noose extender. You could also add some girth-targeted jelqs in addition to the newbie routine, like v-jelqs etc. I do reverse grip downward v-jelqs.

Then eventually, and many users swear by it, there is clamping, which apparently works wonders but is dangerous and I personally haven’t done it yet but plan to once I’m more advanced.

Other than that remember the importance of heat when jelqing, and I’m sure other users will also provide useful suggestions.

I would say start easy with hand clamping. Do this as much as you can while edging as your grip will be a severe limiting factor. But this will help condition your penis to higher pressures. From there you could move to regular clamping or pumping.

Pumping for me gives more short term results and it’s a bit less work so that is the girth method I choose. However, I think there is a better chance for length gains pumping vs clamping, so if you don’t want length gains at all, you may consider clamping.

Clamping is also probably cheaper to get into. A silicone sleeve to protect under the clamp and then a few cable clamps might set you back $20. A good pump tube or two (for staging) and a pump with a gauge could run you $100 or so.

I wouldn’t mind gaining length in fact, I would like to gain more length as long as it is with girth gains. A long skinny ET finger is not what I’m going for!

I will look into the more advanced technique you guys have mentioned after I finish a newbie routine and see how I feel/respond.

Assuming I make good beginner gains and don’t fatigue, what are your thoughts on extenders/ADS devices? The idea of filling out my girth then stretching it seems intuitively like a good idea, but I may have this all wrong.

I believe the common consensus is that it makes more sense to focus on length first and then girth
