For those that trim their pubes...

1. What length guard do you use on your clippers?

2. Does trimming make you less willing to be nude in a public setting (locker room, skinny dipping, whatever…)? Would you be any more self-conscious knowing that other people (men or women) knew you trimmed your pubes?

3. Does your wife or g/f prefer it?

1) I tweeze around the sensitive areas but shave on the lowest setting. Don’t remove the guard cos you’ll cut yourself..:eek:

2) Trimming that area gives it a clean and tidy appearance, as I would wish for the rest of my body. I’m not a gym/beach goer so public situations don’t arise. If they did I’d not be ashamed of taking care of the gardening downstairs.

I use a razor for pubes when I want it nice and smooth, scissors for a trim, and tweezers on the base of the dick.

I can’t imagine not trimming my pubes. I pluck with tweezers for the most part. Ouch.

I shave it on either the second or third setting. And no I’m not embarassed to be nude with trimmed pubes. Tons of people do it now, especially younger guys like me.

Damn how do you all pluck your cock,lol. That sounded funny, but anyway I use the lowest setting on my razor since I have a lot of hair on my legs and such and I get very annoyed with it. I am the not the least bit shamed for doing so, but for trimming pubes I just shave every 2 days or so and it’s fine. I shave all the special places and I am damn proud of it; being ashamed or embarrassed about it is something that people in high school or middle school scold you for.

I shave everything and the girl friend loves it, but in the locker room it is a little weird to look as smooth as a baby, but hey im here to please the ladys not the guys so screw what they think.

I just shave mine in the shape of a heart, I call it abstract art, and my g/f admires it so much, she always wants to get a very close look.

I trim and had to drop ‘em for a navy doc for my physical.a bit wary, but didn’t care really after it was all done.OWN your manhood!

I just use scissors, to trim them down to tidy level. I use a razor on the base of the dick.

My pubes aren’t short enough to make people think I use clippers. They’re just short and neat. I’d be fine with others seeing my pubic hair cut.

My wife doesn’t mention it, but I know she approves, becuase she started doing the same.

She started doing the same? Trimming for you or what? Man I could not go down on a girl that was not shaved. I have stuck my hand in a few panties to find that terrible surprise. I hate hairy vaginas! Clean shaven smooth ones are the best thing in the world. Even better is right after they shaved. MmMmMmm! I don’t mind if they have a little landing strip really, but hair on the lips? NO WAY, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE.

She had a small patch of pubic hair but it was quite long, never cut. I didn’t like it and hinted a few times, but she wouldn’t trim it. Then when I started trimming my own, she suddenly started trimming hers without being asked.

I like a little bit of pubic hair on a woman, but it should be very short and neat. Ideally a Brazillian or sorts. If they are totally bald it freeks me out a little, it’s just too wierd…

1. I don’t use any length guard, so basically it cuts almost as short as would result from shaving, without the itchiness caused by shaving. I do my entire area, and shave the ballsack itself (because the hairs are so fine and sparse there that they don’t cause itchiness when growing back)

2. Not that I generally give a flying fatty fuck about what people would think, I don’t think I’ve ever been nude in a public setting.

3. My girlfriend prefers no hair or very little to a natural untrimmed wild tangle. But I was doing it way before her. In fact, I introduced her to the notion, now she waxes. For her it’s more of a practical issue because if there’s a ton of bush, there’s no way I can comfortably go down there with my face!

1. I do it one of two ways, I use a 3mm guard on my trimmers, then either leave it at that or use a razor for a smooth finish. BUT my skin is very sensitive so I always get tons of bumps so my new way is just using a razor and shaving a little hair each day. Once I got it shaved, I just shave in the shower every day, only takes a min.

2. I’m always self conscious if I’m nude in public. But it doesn’t happen much, but I always wonder if what people think when they see I have little or no hair.

3. No GF’s every said it was good or bad and now the Wife actually says she wants to see me with all hair (haven’t done that since HS though and I’m not going to for her either ;)
