Hi guys, new here and happy to be here,

I’ve been PEing for about 10 days now and I have a tape ruler and a regular ruler. About every two days I’ll record my length and I notice that suddenly after my jelqing sessions I am up to 1 cm longer then when I started, but this gradually goes back to normal within a few hours. Here’s the funny thing, I’m about 17cm long but right after I do PE I’ll be almost 18cm, but by the end of the day (I jelq in the morning) I’ll be 16 cm! Well that obviously makes me a little concerned, by the morning I’m back up to 17cm and the process restarts. As an upside, my girth seems to keep it’s added post workout bonus throughout the day (I have about 14.5 cm of girth mid-shaft after a workout, 13.5-14 cm before I do PE in the morning). What do you make of this? I don’t know if I should be concerned, my erection quality is a mixed bag of incredible and slightly disappointing since I’ve been doing PE, but on the days that it’s not slightly disappointing my erections are really nice (today it was great for example, 2 days ago I had to struggle to make it to 50 jelqs without loosing hardness). I am particularly concerned about the drop in length to 16cm though, could this be a sign that I overworked, or a sign that I’m doing well and the penis is healing itself or something. By the way I use hot wraps before and after every jelqing session, and do stretches in the evening (around 9PM).

It’s natural for your penis to retract after PE. It can get frustrating at times but it’s normal.

How heavily are you working out? If you’re overdoing it, sometimes the penis can retract a bit when trying to heal. Whats your workout?


one month in (as of 02/12/09): 8.15" BPEL, 7.4" NBPEL, 5.6"EG, (5"-6.5" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 190 lbs.

Currently (as of 04/3/09): 8.50" BPEL, 7.6" NBPEL, 5.7"EG, (5.5"-7" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 175 lbs. (final semester of Computer Science > Gym :( )

Goals (in the next 6 months): 8.60" BPEL, 7.8" NBPEL, 6" EG, 7" FL, 5" FG, (still hopefully 6'1"), Weight: 200 lbs.

Here’s my work out:

In the morning:
-Hot towel wrap (5 mins)
-300 jelqs
-Hot shower, while I’m showering I keep a warm washcloth around my dick.

Midday:
-Kegel exercises

Evening:
-Hot towel wrap (5 mins)
-Manual stretching, hold for 40 seconds down, hold for 40 seconds down-left, hold for 40 seconds down-right, hold for 40 seconds up, and then I do 40 rotary cranks. I do 3 sets of each of these. Sometimes I will redo the hot towel wrap after this but I don’t feel it’s really necessary?

Some days when I jelq I’ll start at almost a full erection is that ok? The erection gradually decreases and usually by 100 I have to masturbate to get it back up a bit (takes less than a minute) and then I do my next 100, but yea I start at almost full to get some good pressure build up and feel the hardness slowly decline but the pressure still remains. I’m worried maybe this is the wrong way? Also is it normal to stop every once in a while to get your dick hard and ready again?

I think it is natural to have different measurements at different parts of the day or further from your PE. I would not worry about it. Pick a consistent time to measure. The idea is the determine if you are making progress to your goals.

Look into adding your PE stats.

I would back off a little on the Jelqs. Your EQ should be better than when you started 10 days ago. Lighten up on the grip maybe and focus on the stroke, slow and steady. Depending on your goals, Length=40-60% and Girth=60-80% for Jelqs. Also don’t measure too much, it can play with your emotions good and badly, I suggest once a month. Have fun with it and welcome.

Thanks for all the replies. I figured I might have been going too hard on the jelqs some days, on some occasions I will get carried away and do well over 300 into the 400+ range which I hear can be bad for a PE newb such as myself. I will try to refine my technique and find the perfect balance and not overdo it, in fact the last 2 days I took it easy and today my erection quality was better than when I first started.
