General advise for Newbies

A thread like this one probably exists already, but seeing as how people generally don’t like to use the search feature here, I’ll start a new one for the current generation of newbies. This isn’t so much about training as it is just general “the life of a PE’er” type crap.

Hopefully the subject line has said all that needs to be said, so I’ll just start with mine:

- If it hurts, you’re doing it wrong.

- Don’t hide it from your significant other. Or if you can’t bring yourself to be up front about it, don’t lie when you are finally confronted. I really can’t stress enough that your significant other can be your #1 source of encouragement and support.

- It’s probably best not to talk about it with anyone that doesn’t see your dick regularly, though. They’ll think you’re crazy and it’s just not a very enjoyable argument.

- Remember that 98% of the supplement industry is made up entirely of blood sucking bastards that would sell their children if they thought that they could get away with it. When you find a company that you trust, stick with them.

- Don’t over do it. Growth only happens when you are resting.

Good advice like Para-Goomba said. I’ll also add for any other newbies reading this that warming up with hot wet towel wraps seems to greatly benifit the effect of my PE sessions. Warming down helps as well. It may seem really boring and stupid to sit there with a towel wrapped around your dick when you could be stretching and jelqing the thing but just keep in mind that it really helps with safety, penis health, and growth to do a couple warm ups through out your PE session. When your dick is really pasty white color like how goths like to look sometimes, that’s telling you you have bad blood flow to your dick and in my opinion it will make it much harder for your dick to grow because the dick is not getting good blood flow which the blood gives the chemcials/molectules/nutrients to feed the micro-damaged cells of the tissues in your penis for growth. Every time you warm wrap with a wet towel or whatever method you use (but I think the wet towel is the best) you are helping your dick grow by keeping it healthy… :)

Great advice :) I learned a lot of that stuff the hard way and I wish I did some reading before I started PE. Oh well, its good to learn from your mistakes. Another great tip that I have learned is: 2 on 1 off or 3 on 1 off is enough to start… I started with 5 on 2 off and since I have switched to 2 on 1 off I have seen huge length gains… like 10 times faster than I did with 5 on 2 off. Sure eventually one could work their way up to it. But start with 2 or 3 on 1 off. You need those rest days when you start out. I learned that and I swear by it :)


Start (Aug.05): 6.6 BPEL x 4.375" EG

Now (Feb.2011): 8.6" BPEL x 6.0" EG...

Gains: 2.0" EL x 1.625" EG Way more than doubled my erect volume! PE for life. Anything is possible!

Thank God people are working on a new poll, so that instead of reading one person’s dubious opinion as fact, newbies can get real information.

I’m not knocking you personally, I’m sure you mean well but perhaps you don’t realise how much “advice to newbies” already out there is contradictory. Does this advice to newbies supplant all previous advice to newbies? Or is it better? Or worse? Or just your best guess?

I would guess that with 2 more years as an active member under his belt than you have he does indeed know this very thing. You are right as far as you go though; read enough posts and you will find every goofy thing endorsed.

1)Look for a consensus among those giving advise.

2)Consider the source: is it advise from someone that joined a few months ago or from a guy with a some time in. In addition click on the user name and pull up other posts from the same guy and see if he is consistent and help full or full of sh*t.

3)Is the advise situation specific? Some “contradictory” advise really isn’t but is given for different situations.

Please post some links where guys advocate skipping the newbie routine and going straight to advanced exercises, PEing while injured, using pills, proselytising friends with PE, being inconsistent with your workout, etc, etc. Most of the PE advise given to noobs is actually very consistent. If you wish to take the time to find the odd post where some moron advises doing dangerous things, have at it. Such posts do exist.
