Has anyone been able to significantly improve EQ while lying down on their back?

I have poor EQ on my back and can’t get hard like that, I can only get a semi. Standing and kneeling mine has been good enough for insertion but not on my back. I have bad EQ because of porn recently, but even when it was good, my EQ was definitely worse on my back and I avoided these positions for this reason. When I have a semi and try to insert it while I am lying down on my back, it is the base that will kind of bend, showing it is the weakest part. My base girth is slightly lower than my midshaft and head, but the base also includes the spongiosum which isn’t very strong, while the spongiosum isn’t prominent in my middle measurement. So realistically my base is even smaller than the measurement would make it seem. BEG around 4.6, MEG around 4.8.
What i think may be causing it is that I have a thin base, and good EQ usually requires a good base. I will be doing gentle stretches to increase this. It seems to be common to have a significantly larger base than midshaft, so most guys probably don’t experience my problem.
It could also be a combination of base size and kegeling, since I am used to clenching my kegel muscle while beating off which is momentarily good for EQ, but after a few seconds reduces EQ. So I have gotten better at Reverse Kegeling, which closes off blood supply better; I can tell because vascularity is increased when I RK but not normal kegel. I can RK fine standing up but the muscle seems harder to use/locate when I am lying down; so I think my weak EQ could also be because I am not RKing properly lying down.
Has anyone experienced this? And has anyone gone from poor EQ on their back to good EQ? Thanks for all your help.
