Hey all,
I have poor EQ on my back and can’t get hard like that, I can only get a semi. Standing and kneeling mine has been good enough for insertion but not on my back. I have bad EQ because of porn recently, but even when it was good, my EQ was definitely worse on my back and I avoided these positions for this reason. When I have a semi and try to insert it while I am lying down on my back, it is the base that will kind of bend, showing it is the weakest part. My base girth is slightly lower than my midshaft and head, but the base also includes the spongiosum which isn’t very strong, while the spongiosum isn’t prominent in my middle measurement. So realistically my base is even smaller than the measurement would make it seem. BEG around 4.6, MEG around 4.8.

What i think may be causing it is that I have a thin base, and good EQ usually requires a good base. I will be doing gentle stretches to increase this. It seems to be common to have a significantly larger base than midshaft, so most guys probably don’t experience my problem.

It could also be a combination of base size and kegeling, since I am used to clenching my kegel muscle while beating off which is momentarily good for EQ, but after a few seconds reduces EQ. So I have gotten better at Reverse Kegeling, which closes off blood supply better; I can tell because vascularity is increased when I RK but not normal kegel. I can RK fine standing up but the muscle seems harder to use/locate when I am lying down; so I think my weak EQ could also be because I am not RKing properly lying down.

Has anyone experienced this? And has anyone gone from poor EQ on their back to good EQ? Thanks for all your help.

How old are you?

I have that too but Cialis/Viagra is the only thing I’ve found to help so far.

I am 25 and I have no reason to have poor EQ. I am in good shape and can run a mile in under 8 minutes and I am not overweight. I don’t know why being on my back would be different… but it definitely is. Maybe it is related to that when my heart is above my unit, (Standing or sitting) the blood flows with gravity into my unit but on my back, my heart has to pump horizontally and up slightly to get into my unit.

This is more common then you think, there’s a handful of guys, that are healthy and don’t have EQ problems, that experience this issue. I think it has to do with what you said, the whole blood flow situation.

And it’s weird that it varies, I’ve seen many report that sitting down they have great EQ but standing up it is not the same.

So it’s an interesting topic.

I would be interested in seeing if the guys who have problems with this are like me and have a small base or if it is totally random. I plan to aim for base size mostly for the next several months and see how it affects my issue lying down. I know porn is unrealistic, but those guys all have bigger bases since that is best for a strong woody and they can all do girl on top fine. Not that I consider porn my example for everything, just in this case.

I got better with practice. Relaxing is important. Every morning I wake up with a rock solid wood pointing straight up to the sky.

My base is way thicker than mid shaft and if i lay back for a blowjob its not rock hard. When i stand up it becomes fully hard. Its become such an issue i worry that ill lose my wood that way. I can fuck like that and stay hard if im on the edge but if i relax too much i get softer.

Your right, porn is unrealistic. They hire guys with perfect dicks, and that means aesthetically as well. So a dick that is more even with girth will be favored. You don’t see to many curved dicks in porn do you? Even though they are pretty common and normal.

So there’s plenty of guys out there with a base that has smaller girth then their MEG. Including me, for example. Lol I don’t have any EQ issues because of it, I don’t have any EQ issues. My base girth is probably about .1 maybe .2 smaller then my MEG. Haven’t measured it in awhile, probably should actually.
