Weak erections when lying on back - can't stay hard
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone else has this issue and if anyone knows what can be done about it. I have normal erections standing up and sitting down, but lying down on my back I can’t stay hard. I can’t do girl on top well at all, usually can’t be hard enough to get it in or I lose it soon after. I am only 22. I think a few issues may be involved:
1. I have a thin/ weak base of my penis, although I know it is more common to have a bigger base. My middle and head are ~4.9 inches but base is only about 4.5. And the spongiosum is a significant part of this, and it doesn’t contribute to strength very much since it is weaker than the cavernosum. If a girl does get on top and I am semi-hard, I am afraid it will bend at the base and hurt me. Or there is a good chance I won’t be hard.
2. I am still working on my EQ since I realized I was someone who “clenched” for most of my life while jerking off. So I get involuntary kegels sometimes, and have to think about relaxing my pelvic floor while getting hard. So I believe doing a routine with more RKs will help balance this.
I have a question about how good does someone’s cardiovascular fitness need to be to have pretty good EQ? I am in good shape, am 22 and have ~12% BF and not much of a fat pad. I can run a mile in about 6:45 so I feel like my cardio fitness is not the issue. Either way I think I may have low-ish testosterone so I will probably have to have amazing cardio to make up for my weak boners lying down. In general, even standing up my boners are decent but not great, which I think is related to my thin base as well. And my boner points straight out, not up which is often a characteristic of good blood flow and strong EQ. It is definitely good enough for penetration in most positions, but it is kind of wobbly at the base even when hard since it is top-heavy. My midshaft seems hard and unable to be bent much, but the base can be bent more due to its thin size.
Related to porn, this is probably an issue but even when I haven’t watched porn in a week or so the base is still wobbly. It is definitely worse after porn but the problem still exists without the negative effects of porn. Thanks for your help!
