I gave a wrong impression. I was only kidding about the 50 lbs, but still curious since I saw that a doctor had a lengthening operation client hang 40 lbs and there is a picture of it on Google Images. I’m not hanging anything until I’ve done this for another month or two. In the meantime I’ll read and ask questions, and try to make a hanger “the wench.”

Hey man. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with newbies hanging. That used to be the norm. You’re ambitious and that’s a good thing. Just warm up and make sure your hanger is up to snuff. Hanging can be quite enjoyable if done correctly.
The wench is good stuff. Check out the homemade Bib too. It works pretty well. stillwantmore has a modified version (sorry about the MoS link, I don’t think SWM posted this on TP) which uses pvc hose instead of hard pvc. I’ve made a hanger with that and it’s awesome. And it only cost $5 to make.
You’re going to be huge.

Thanks for the links. I don’t have an account there though so can’t see the pictures. I think the wench seems easy to do since I can buy the things tomorrow. I looked at the ones with the circular base on here and like those, but don’t have privacy to drill right now, but have the tools.
I hope I get to be at least 6 in length. I’d be in heaven with 7. People on here are starting at 7 or above and I’m like wow, that’s my goal, lol. I don’t want to be anything special, just happy.

I’ll post pictures of mine in my journal thread. Do try the wench, though. It’s good to try a variety of hangers since everybody’s different.

I haven’t tried many hangers myself but my wrench works great for me. Here are some of the pics I took of the one I made, it is easy to make by the way.
