Heat and EQ

Anyone experience a decrease in EQ while using heat? First time using a heat pad today and noticed my EQ was bad. So I’m thinking of using heat pad today and no heat pad tomorrow. Anyone think that’s a good idea?

For PE? Never do any without a proper warming up especially at the start of the journey, or you are going to be sorry. A wet towel/washcloth works just fine for the warmup if somehow the heating pad itself is the problem

Heat softens your tissues and allows them to stretch and work more, simultaneously preventing injury while increasing actual tissue stresses. That said, you could do an identical workout with the same tensions, cold and heated, the heated workout will have been more exhaustive on your unit.

If it’s negatively affecting EQ, same as if it was a cold workout, reduce time and/or intensity until your physiological indicators (PI’s) are positive and not negative. There’s nothing wrong with cold workouts per se, but heated workouts have been shown to be more beneficial. I would adjust the workout and get used to the heat.

It doesn’t seem to bother most people. A handful - and I’m one - get anything from loss of EQ to ED after a good hot session. It lasts a day or two, then everything returns to normal. It’s a temporary thing.

My fastest gains came from using heat, and that’s what most people report. If you have any sort of control over your sex schedule, use heat until a couple of days before. That will give you time to fully recover. Otherwise, you’ll have to make your best guess.

Another question, so I’m using a totalman heat pad and wanted to know if it’s okay to put it over your glans too?
