Hello, New Here with some questions on Stretching
So after reading as much as I could, maybe I missed it, if so I apologize.
But can someone explain why we need to release pressure after stretching, especially with an ADS like phallosan?
I understand taking a few breaks, but why stop the stretch?
I ask this because the usual answer is “to heal” but when I look at other areas that are stretched, specifically say gauging ears, they don’t stretch for a given amount of time, then remove the gauge, they just keep a continuous stretch going and slowly add more pressure over time.
It just seems releasing just causes the turtling and would slow any real progress.
It also would seem that the healing taking place would actually focus on rebuilding the tissue to strengthen AGAINST stretching over time, which would appear to be why over time many people who hang have to add more and more weight to continue to make gains.
I’m just trying to get a good clear answer is all.
Currently I feel using something like a hanger or say phallosan plus, for an hour or 2 then switching to a ADS to maintain stretch (not necessarily much pull) as much as possible would be best?
