If testosterone is responsible for penile growth in boys, why is it that as an adult penile growth is no longer possible? If you apply testosterone cream on a child’s genitals the penis will grow quite a bit. What other hormones are responsible for the growth of the penis and why does it stop when you reach adulthood?
It’s about genetics. Once they shut off, it doesn’t matter how much testosterone you use.

You are 100% right, we still don’t have the knowledge to determine, how the penis grows and to which hormonal stimuli, in total depth.
Maybe it’s like the bones, once they reach certain age, they are not longer responsive to hGh.
