I think that hourglass dick is the result of injury. Mine is, anyway. When I was young, I bent my erect penis in half in a stupid attempt to fix a slight curvature. Immediately after doing this, my penis took on the hourglass shape when flaccid. The narrowed area is where I bent my penis in half.
I tried jelqing a few years ago, and this made the pinch more obvious. The pinched area did not respond to growth.just the base and upper shaft did. It’s like the sponge cells that respond to growth from PE exercises have been damaged somehow in that area.
When erect, the pinch is not noticeable, though. It’s visible when flaccid, but not all the time. It’s also visible sometimes when my penis is half engorged, and this really looks strange, since the girth above and below the pinch is accentuated. Eventually, though, when the erection takes, the pinch finally fills in. Also, when flaccid, if I bend my penis back on itself, it automatically folds easiest in the area that was damaged, whether or not the pinch is apparent at the time. It’s like the cartilidge or the cells have been weakened somehow.
Another guy on here got hourglass dick from hanging a 15 lb weight near the base of his penis.the pinch occurred where he hung the weight. Others, like you, talk about hourglass after jelqing. It would seem logical, though, that if yours is like mine, that you must have squeezed really hard in the area that is now pinched. If not, I don’t know how yours came about.
Right now, I’m trying a device called phallosan to fix the curve that I was trying to fix at the time of my injury. Hopefully, the stretching the device uses will also stimulate cell growth in the pinched area as well, but I’m skeptical about that.
We should probably just ask a urologist. I’m sure that they’ve seen it all, and know what has been damaged. Or google, “hourglass” and “penis”. Good luck.
