Hydrocortisone?

Hydrocortisone?

I know hydrocortisone is good for irritation, inflammation, etc. Of skin, but it also decreases collagen synthesis. Is using it regularly on one’s penis a good idea? I see its use recommended often in the PE community, likely to deal with the irritation and inflammation caused by what we’re subjecting ourselves to, but I am starting to question if long term, regular use is a good idea.

Here’s why:

Modulation of collagen synthesis and mRNA by continuous and intermittent use of topical hydrocortisone in human skin - PubMed.

Conclusions: Continuous hydrocortisone for 3 weeks markedly decreases collagen propeptides and corresponding mRNA in human skin. Intermittent hydrocortisone has a less marked effect on the collagen synthesis rate.

Any opinions?

Thunder’s software refuses to recognize the appropriate abbreviation of et cetera and sees the period as the end of a sentence and auto-capitalizes the first letter of the next word? For a forum with such stringent rules about posting, you’d think that would have been addressed long ago. Odd.

**EDIT** It even flags writing etc. Out.
