I just began my routine about a week ago, and I’m addicted. Even while I’m at work or out somewhere, I’m thinking about how much I would like to jelq when I get home. It kind of worries me though.. I started off with the newbie routine, and it says that I should take a break, or start off with 2 days 1 day off. But I just can’t skip a day, I always say tomorrow, but it doesn’t happen. I like doing it when I get the chance, it just makes me feel good.

Wondering if there are any dangers from this? Reason I ask this is because just yesterday I noticed that a very large vein was appearing on the top of my penis after my session. Seemed like it was full/swollen popping out, it was like at the base of my penis on the top. Is that normal?

Welcome, I am addicted to PE as well! I think you’ll find many are the same here as you and I. (although one day I tend to get on with my life very soon as soon as my PE dreams of big gains are realized, don;t worry readers I will have a good plan. :) ) But dude I’m really serious. The first mistake most people make and I have made it too is to overtrain!!! Remember to try and not to OVERTRAIN!!! You overtrain when you are a newbie and havent conditioned your dick enough to the intensity and number of times you excersize. Know that it is truly when you rest and sleep at night when your dick will truly grow. Believe it and you’ll thank me later. Of course don’t undertrain either that can lead to a plateau. LOL. Find the balance man. :)

Very good advice from Nick. It took me a while to realize this even though I made pretty big gains (1.5+”) intially, eventually with the same technique I was using they came to a stop and I overtrained. Absoultely no doubt.

To rest or not to rest is still a non established fact right? Even more unestablished after aristocane started his newest thread, revealing that he did not believe in rest days and still gained like a maniac with no damages. (except that discolloration…)

For some people it might do a difference, for some maybe not. I have been clamping for 10 days a row now, and the penis only gets more and more susceptible to more intense pressure. No pain, extreme discomfort or popped veins at all.

What though DO fatigue it beyond possibility of doing PE at evening, is masturbating more than one time the same day. The cells and cavernosas just get to sensitive and fatigued to take the pressure necessary for clamping and jelqing. If I masturbate 5-6 times the same day, I can forget PE for several days. And yet it’s an “established” fact that masturbation do not affect PE.

My point is, what everyone says may not apply to everyone. If you do your PE your fifth day and experience pain, you need a rest day each fifth day. If you experience it the third day, you need a rest day each third day. If you don’t experience any pain at all any day, you may not need rest days at all?

Or am I bicycling down a cliff here?

Seriosuly, I can relate to that statement. Having to take a week off because of overtraining or just needing to give your dick a rest when you know there might be a way to get gains from the wide range of PE excersizes is extreme torture sometimes. :)

Sounds like you are on the right track Retainer. :) Rest days work for me, I guess it depends on how conditioned and sore your dick is in relation to how many rest days one should take.

I believe rest days are needed like they are needed in bodybuilding for growth to allow your dick to adapt to the stresses enforced on it from PE. And as the dick gets longer, thicker, healthier, and stronger more intensity in ones PE routine naturally is needed to break the next barrier to get the next gains and possibly less rest time depending how conditioned ones dick is. Of course there is also the idea of sticking with what is working for a while to get gains so you don’t toughen and stregthen up your dick to fast which would slow gains in the long run and make taking a deconditioning break take a lot quicker then normal which is bad. I guess that last sentence seems to be more of a PE hanging issue though.

I know what you mean exactly trainingdayz! Sometimes when I’m jelqing I’ll get a vein that will swell up pretty significantly! Because of all the blood that in being forced into them! I’m just wondering if thats just occurs during the exercises or if the veins will remain swollen like that when you just have a normal erection? Hopefully not! I mean I guess some girls like some veins for the texture and feel of it but I just don’t want any absurd swollen veins on my penis you know! ;]

Same here. I’m still a newbie and I do not want to over train, but that is such a hard thing to do. I tend to constantly think about some sort of PE, and what effect that would have on my dick.

Once you start this stuff, it’s like crack, you get addicted very easily and cannot control yourself.

I don’t know about the rest of you guys but I love doing jelqs. I’m still on the newbie routine and will be for the next little while but if the rest of the exercises are as good as the jelqs I definitely don’t mind doing them.

Doing PE is like working out. Working out and making sure your body is in good shape shouldn’t be a chore, it should be like taking a piss in the morning. It’s your body and you should TAKE CARE OF IT. Same goes for the penis.
