Am I doing something wrong? I’ve been PEing pretty consistantly this year, and I still haven’t noticed anything. Well not much anyways. It hangs bigger when flaccid. So that’s a plus, but I’m not noticing anything when erect. My routine is a 5 minute pump, just to get the blood in there followed by a 10-15 minute jelq. I’ve read that patience is important and I understand that, but does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I was doing it Mon-Fri although I haven’t done it in about two weeks.

Well, you might “flesh it up a little” and do the newbie routine. Warm-up? I’m pretty sure you should add some stretching to your routine.

I’m still bit of a newbie myself but I would say start doing a 20minute jelq with a fairly tight grip but make sure you do not hurt yourself, I like to try to do a grip that I feel is as tight as I can do it without hurting myself and I would would start stretching atleast 10minutes before and after

Thats my newbie opinion but I have seen good gains from doin it so.

You are a hard gainer. This is not the worst thing in the world, and can be overcomed by advanced exercises: Jai stretches, bends (orange and erect), hanging, clamping, jelq squeezes, etc…

What are your exact goals?

Do you stretch? Do you use a warm up?

The key to success is the right strategy. Although jelqing alone does help some, it does not always help everyone.

I started in January and was doing it 5 times a week but haven’t done them in about two-three weeks. No, I don’t stretch, and I don’t use a warm wrap beforehand, I pump for 5 minutes to get the blood flowing. After that I jelq for 10-15 minutes. I do take a hot shower afterwards though. The reason for me not doing the stretches and wraping is because I really don’t have time for it. I know what you’re thinking but it’s true. At the moment I’m not in school but when I start backup again I only get around four hours of sleep Mon-Fri. Unfortunately I can’t afford not to work full-time. So I am really pressed for time. I’m going to do some searches on these other exercises and see what they’re all about. I’ve got a few weeks, so right now I do have time to dedicate myself fully to PE.

Oh btw, I’m 6.5” bpel, not too sure about girth but I’m not very thick.
And my goal is to reach 7” nbpel, and I’d like to be what seems to be an average thickness. Anything after that will just be a plus.

I’d say quit the jelqing for a good while, jelqing is mainly known as a girth excersize. You should mainly/only concentrate only on manual stretching, even if you find it boring. Do whatever it takes when manual stretching to reach a good soreness level, then when you get that take it easy and get some good sleep. Repeat that process for about a week or two and you will see some length gains… Hanging is another option for length gains and both manual stretching and hanging complement each other well. Try manual stretching at lower angles to target you ligs. Also you might want to try doing some kegels. I don’t know what to think about the pumping since I’m not really interested into that area. This info should help you if you follow it…

I’m going to read more on hanging and do some stretching, but I don’t think I’ll stop jelqing altogether since I’m looking for girth as well.

I am pretty knew around here also, but I do know one thing for sure. You must warm up first. Most everyone around here will tell you that. Now, I know this from personal experiance. First of all you not only get the blood pumping, but you will be less likely to get an injury. You will also be amazed at the gains. I have also said in another post that you must stretch, stretch, stretch. Stretching, whether you do it manually, hanging or other means will give you the most for your time and efforts on length.

But most importantly, remember that you need to warm the tool. Many people on Thunder’s have very good ways of doing this. Here are some of the ways that I have read.

A cup of warm water and submurse your dick and balls in it.

Heating pad, very good I use this one sometimes.

Shower, I have one of those removable heads that I a can direct the water with. This is the one that I use the most.

Hot wrap, good but you have to keep heating it up.

Water bottel, last a long time. not used it though.

IR lamp, new to me as far as reading about it. Looks as if you need to be careful with that one though.

I hope that I have helped you out some. One other thing that you need to do is look at the Newbie routine and follow it as well as you can. It will happen just give it time.

Last but not least, quality is always better, in my opinion, than quantity.
